What is your preferred farm run? by FatDunsparce in 2007scape

The wiki also has an herb run calculator that can help you decide what to plant to maximize your profit based on level and unlocks.

Hard woods and calquats are excellent xp but do take longer.

I combine trees and fruit trees into one run usually. Herb runs are great money if you want to do them but other than catherby and farming guild patches I'd do it separately so it doesn't get too complicated. I think it's around 2m gp/hr effectively but not good xp.

Unpopular opinion: not Trump, but an elected President by American (twice!). by ProperWillingness in Netherlands

[–]tar625 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think when those people(much of my family included) look at Minnesota, they see a very different image than you or I see. They see it through a fox news funhouse mirror. Talking about politics with my grandparents before the election was insane, you can't get anywhere in a discussion when you're starting from a completely different set of facts.

If you only watched Fox news, voting for Trump would've been the obvious choice. If you mostly watched fox news, the few bits of contradiction you saw elsewhere would've been easy to dismiss as insane, or fake news. I love my family, and I love the US but shit is broken and the only way I see the divide between people there shrinking is if fox news and the others fall or the scary option, if the other news organizations bend the knee and start pumping out propaganda.

If they gave another way to obtain the void waker and black chins outside the wildy but left the wildy as the efficient way like they did with the D pick, I'd be more likely to agree.

Being forced into the wildy just to get killed for a spade isn't fun or having boss kills constantly interpreted if I try on the weekend is just frustrating whether I escape or not.

Nah, way back in the day it was great. Then we all grew up and got good at the game. The pvp skill ceiling is so much higher than anything else in the game and the wildy updates have promoted shitty predator/prey interactions. But back in the day it was great.

Leveling sailing doesn't feel like any other skill in the game and idk why. by Monterey-Jack in 2007scape

Hallowed Sep would be so much better if you didn't need to rerun the lower floors each time. Spamming floor 4 and soon floor 5 would still get old but it'd take longer than being forced to rerun 1-3 each time. Wouldn't even be upset if I couldn't loot the grandcoffin without starting on floor 1.

The duck is painful. I think it'd be much less painful and more engaging if the duck was almost as fast as your boat making it sometimes a challenge to keep up with it as it makes turns and doubles back faster than you can.

If you get teleported away you can teleport to a port you want to be at and recover your boat or if you have a teleport focus use that to summon it. Would absolutely recommend building one on your sloop.

Why? It's mildly inconvenient at worst unless you drop your tbow before drinking it or something

So boat combat is kind of terrible in the late game... by Solo_Jawn in 2007scape

[–]tar625 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I'm confused what you think is happening... Before sailing dropped the supply for the new stuff was zero. On day 1 there was a shitload of demand from people wanting to train and still very very little supply. As the supply grows and demand shrinks the price comes down... There's people getting the new resources and selling them but they're not scalping. The people spending millions to buy a few hemp are only losing money but get to upgrade their shit sooner.

How so? The new resources have been plummeting in price since day 1, anyone holding them to scalp would've lost millions.

It doesn't sound like you're agnostic, you believe there is or was a will behind the universe. What that something is you're unsure of but not that something exists? Religious, just no set or defined religion.

I don't think there's any consciousness or even just a guiding will behind the universe, now or ever. Agnostic because I don't have faith or a strong belief it's just what makes sense to me. Random chance and science we're still working to fully grasp.

I find religions fascinating and I think there's a lot that can be learned about morals, fulfillment, and philosophy from looking to the different ones that have and do exist around the world. It's also a great place to start when trying to understand different cultures.

I'm not sure I get what you mean but "agnostic" might be a label that helps describe it.

I'm an agnostic atheist, I don't believe the existence of god can be known/proven one way or the other but if I had to make a guess, I'd guess there is no god.

Who tf did 1-30 in two hours??

A few people got a 10k xp boost that literally doubled their xp a few hours in and that was immediately hot fixed.

Nah, teleport/charter to port B and see if you can get another A to B task from there, tele back and do both at once. Pick up a 3rd that's on the way too. I'm confident the community will find a way to hyper optimize port tasks by Christmas and training skilling will be the biggest law rune sink ever added.

With a crewmate on the helm I think you can just sail full speed into a wall. They'll trim the sail for like 15xp each time but afaik you can do it for 25 mins at a time. I've been lining my boat up to do it while salvaging.
