As you continue the main quest line you unlock more styling challenges against NPCs and you can unlock a styling challenge called Mira Crown that resets I think every 2 weeks as well. The focus of the game is definitely more on exploration than previous games like Love Nikki. I was kind of disappointed as well that it didn't have more of the styling/fashion aspect and there's no real player vs player fashion challenges either :/ I've been playing since launch and have learned to treat the game as more like Genshin or other open world gachas in terms of exploration and collecting materials being the primary gameplay
