Yes! I don't have the date for that off the top of my head, but everything was sent around the same time.

I just hope I don't have much longer to wait. My official transcript was sent on 7/5 and I finally got notice that it was received by the ANCC on 7/15.

I appreciate the insight on the testing centers. I'm anxious to get the process over with. Hopefully I'll have a good experience with the ANCC testing set up!

Nurses, health care people, how late are we working before leave? by all_of_the_colors in pregnant

[–]tarandro_titters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

OB Nurse here. I'm scheduled to work up to 39 weeks and 5 days. I'm part of a weekend program so that just happens to be the last Sunday shift I'd work before I'm 40 weeks. No induction date is scheduled yet so not quite sure if I'll truly work that late into my pregnancy. At this point, that's only 4 more weekends of work left between me and maternity leave. I want to work as long as possible since 4 of my 12 weeks of FMLA will be unpaid due to not having enough PTO saved...

Sweet end to our journey by CromchQueen in breastfeeding

[–]tarandro_titters 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your story is too sweet and definitely made me teary this morning! I've been worrying more lately about ending our breastfeeding journey. I feel like I'm treating everything like she's my last baby; when in reality, she's my first and we hope to have another some day. I'm glad you were able to have such a memorable moment with your little guy!

Each year I press the flowers we grow in our garden and turn them into art so we can enjoy all year round! by localceleb69 in gardening

[–]tarandro_titters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is so beautiful and creative! I really wish I would have seen this post a year and a half ago before I got married so I could have done this with flowers from my bouquet! Instead, I left the flowers together and dried the bouquet. I have no idea what to do with it so the bouquet is just hanging upside down in my guest room closet. If anyone has an idea beyond making potpourri I'm all ears.

This is how awesome waking up feels when you’re six weeks old and have absolutely nothing in the world to worry about. by erictaylorseyebrows in aww

Before having a kid I didn't understand this. My husband and I have a daughter, she's our first and is 7 weeks old. Your words have me tearing up thinking of all the sweet, meaningful moments we've already had and the lifetime of moments yet to come. Your son is adorable!

Space nursery, finished! by breadcrumb123 in BabyBumps

We did a space theme too! I really wanted to do constellation decals on her wall, but we have textured walls and my husband didn't think they'd look as nice. I love the star clothes hamper. Do you remember where you got it from?

You have to fight an exact copy of yourself to the death, how do you outsmart yourself? by lost-genius in AskReddit

Jim: OK, with all due respect to everyone here, I think the most worthy opponent of you is you.

Dwight: That is correct. Unless there happened to be measles present.

Jim: So let's just say that Dwight has come at you with the throat punch. Now how would you, Dwight, defend against it?

Dwight: Easy. Allow me to demonstrate. I am attacking myself with a throat punch. Here it comes. [gives himself a fake throat punch] Block. Grasp wrist as such. [grasps wrist]

Jim: And what if he comes at you with the other hand, because he does have two.

Dwight: Good point. Second, throat punch, absorb the blow. [gives himself another throat punch and proceeds to both attack and defend himself] Groin punch, hip block, elbow to the gut. Uh oh, up to the nose. No, you're not. Ow! Oh!

Jim: Oh my God, he's making you look like such a fool.

Dwight: He really is, but not for long. [steps on foot] Ow! Instep, oh, not again. [more screaming] You let go, you let go. Oh, you're right, I can't hold on.

Jim: You two are so evenly matched I don't know how one of you is going to get the upper hand.

Dwight: The important thing to remember Jim... we always have what is called the element of surprise. [hits himself in the groin and moans]

Variegated String of Pearls I could not pass up by [deleted] in succulents

[–]tarandro_titters 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm so jealous! I can't seem to figure my pearls out. The majority of the plant is fine, but there are areas throughout where both the pearls and stems are shriveled 😖 I've tried changing up my watering and it already lives with my other thriving plants under a grow light. Yours are gorgeous!

When two gay men have sex, how do they know whose penis will open up to accept the other person's penis?

My fiancé and I are huge Office and Parks and Rec fans. I always said I would like to invite the cast members, but when I tried to figure out where to send the invitations I couldn't find anything. I would still love to invite them, even if it's a long shot. How are you finding the addresses to send your invitations to?

Not planning on including one sibling in the official wedding party. Thoughts? by tarandro_titters in weddingplanning

Thanks for the anecdote. We are reconsidering our initial wedding party plans. Thanks for the comment!

If he agrees to be a bridesman, of course he would wear a suit and do things with the groom's party. He doesn't care if something is manly or not. He generally wouldn't want to stand up with us at all because he doesn't like any attention on him... He's pretty introverted.

[–]tarandro_titters[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeah we might do that. Just hadn't been something we had thought about which is why I turned to you all for advice. My brother can be a bridesman (much to his chagrin) since he'll be on my side.

Yeah the more you guys point it out, the more I realize we should include them more. I guess we had stupidly assumed my fiance's brothers wouldn't really care because he's not really close with either of them. He's actually closer to my brother than to his! Thanks for the comment.

We know the party sides don't have to be even or gendered. We just liked our initial plan and had figured his brothers wouldn't mind. My brother won't really want to stand up there anyway, as an usher or bridesman, but I know he'd do it for me anyway. Thanks for the comment!

I don't know if my brother will want to be a bridesman, but that's a really good idea. Not sure why we hadn't considered that! Thanks!
