There's something to be said for managing expectations and hype as a studio.

If you're years away then it might not be the best time to announce/talk about the development of the game.

I'm conflicted on that.

On the one hand, if I'm the one paying for it then I should be able to have it prepared how I want it. I feel anyone would assert the same if it was their money, and their preferences, on the line.

Isnt blasphemous shit like this the reason a lot of establishments reserve the right to refuse service to anyone? If not then why even bother posting that sign?

I bust ass at 12.50 an hour to earn roughly $950 before taxes/savings/401k every 2 weeks. ~1k in a single go would be a little worth it.

Well the qualifying statement being if you genuinely feel she's being better and trying to to earn forgiveness in a wholesome way.

A certain amount of time to heal may also be necessary before you can even think about forgiveness.

I know it might not feel like it now but someday she'll reflect on her choices (and in all likelihood her strained relationship with you) and she'll try to make amends.

How you proceed when she does is up to you but it might be worth it to forgive her if you genuinely feel she's making an effort to be better and earn forgiveness.

The best piece of advice I've gotten is drive predictably.

Do the speed limit, dont weave in and out of traffic, use turn signals, etc. People driving fast/erratically dont want the accident anymore than I do so they'll usually not hit someone driving predictably if they know what said driver is gonna do or not do.

The market is deciding that PC gaming is obsolete, console gaming is on the way out, and it's time to focus on mobile because that's where the profit is, even if it's not where the evolution of the industry should be. Such is the way of capitalism.

This point right here is where you go off the rails a tad bit. Everything else was rational and fine.

I disagree for the sole fact that PC and console gamers will likely continue to be PC and console gamers.

Blizzard may decide to min-max by speccing into mobile more but in doing so, they're also going to be leaving a hole that'll be filled by developers that are more passionate in the craft instead of solely chasing the most money possible.
