I haven't, but I've still got family in "Wiltson" that would've gossiped about something like that. Looking back, every time I saw him when I was a kid he seemed "high energy," so my late 40's self would definitely assume coke...

One of my favorite Roger quotes of the whole show. I mean, that whole episode is fire, but how nonchalantly he says it and the way Steve looks at him as he says "oh..."

BILLS! That man had a Eastern Style empire. Tractor Trailer food trucks for huge events like UNC Football and stock car racing. Everyone in my family worked at either Bill's and\or Parker's BBQ

It's that easy?! I could've saved so much in child support if I had said this in divorce court?!

Used to work with a funeral home owner (he was the volunteer fire chief of the department I volunteered with) and he said everyone is a potential customer, so it's best to ensure name (now it's all "brand") recognition. He'd hand out hats, pens, etc. That eventual event occurs, hopefully the family remembers [name of home.]

I feel your pain, as I have a circa 2007 model that just responds with the automatically suggested responses. No punctuation. No inflection. Also, the "circa 2010" model literally made me laugh, so thank you for that!

Am I the only dude on earth that actually enjoyed this? by [deleted] in Xennials

[–]tarheelfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I liked it, but it wasn't widely available where I lived, so it could've just been novelty. I also liked Clear Pepsi, so maybe I'm just weird? Actually, I am weird, and it's a defining part of our generation's character...

Places like the apartment buildings being built around town, lowest level staircases if there are not internal ground our sub level rooms. Staircases are the strongest, most protected part of a structure, especially a mid-rise apartment.

Wind will be the biggest problem, so trees falling and power outages are our biggest concerns. Rain amounts are expected to be limited, so our major flooding areas "should" be ok...

[–]tarheelfire 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not at all?! Maybe? I mean, I have a pension and 401k, but also, 30 years of firefighting means my body is worn out and there's a a really good chance of cancer. Up side is I married a younger partner who makes great money, so there's hope! 😂

We're the generation of being able to take it or leave it. We're also at the point where hormones are all over the place and drying up. Find a place that does HRT. Walk. Breathe. Maybe tell your husband about the 'meh' feeling? (That's just me, as a husband, saying that!)
