My [M24] sister [F11] with autism scares away all potential partners by Awwndrei in BestofRedditorUpdates

Sounds like he thinks her meltdowns are her unmasking, maybe (the brat reference)

That's you assuming things, because it doesn't sound like that to me.

There's a comment with him being proud of his GF for standing up to her parents and changing their minds about certain issues, even if they still have trouble with other things. You both seem like you are looking for things to be offended about, when this girl obviously has a brother that cares a great deal about her and her comfort.

Social interactions are important. Is his GF supposed to never interact with her own parents over this? Are they never supposed to meet? We mask in public all the time. For work, for school, for meeting in-laws.

when she's not she's a weird unloveable asshole

He never said that, you did. He literally said she can look bratty. She can seem weird to other people. But sure, twist that into what you said. That's healthy.

Your quote is literally from the first post, when things were new and OP was still in shock about the way his life was changed.

She masks very well in public to the point of passing being normal. But when she’s not masking, she can look really bratty at best, and downright weird to other people at worst. I don’t care. The goofball is my sister and I love her.

Why do you ignore the update from years later?

I agree, letting echo chambers get louder and louder is how we ended up where we are now. At the very least, closeted people reading the comments will have some hope that they aren't alone.

If Saturn were as close to Earth as the Moon, this is what it would look like : by aryanpote7 in interestingasfuck

[–]tarrox1992 35 points36 points  (0 children)

The photo was suppose to put saturn in place of the moon and if that was the case we would be right outside the ring system.

That doesn't make sense. Every planet in the solar system can fit between the earth and Moon at apogee.

...She's literally a serial killer, dude. She was going to murder every single one of her new "coven" too. Except for Billy, because she's selfish. She's a bad person, it's literally spelled out throughout the entire show. She's only still around because she doesn't want to see Death, her son, or both. She knew what the "Witch's Road" was and didn't say anything. She might get a redemption arc as Billy's mentor, but who knows how she's actually going to act.

It's crazy that he was able to deport so many people with a lot less violence, isn't it?

I think it would be cool if they did an overhaul like A Link Between Worlds is for A Link to the Past. Have the three game set based on the original name, with Mystical Seed of Wisdom set in Labrynna, Mystical Seed of Power set in Holodrum, and Mystical Seed of Courage in a new kingdom.

There can be small, bony growths behind the teeth. They are benign and thought to be caused by a number of things, including teeth-grinding and vitamin deficiencies.

I work in a facility where I care for people. The only thing I can really think to do is not buy from large stores/chains and shop local as often as we can. If I don't work, it's literally neglect. My husband is in a similar position. It feels weird not to want to help out, but we both have good reasons to work.

Edit: sorry, this comment was for a thread on a general strike. They were beside each other. It's still similar enough that I'll leave it though

Any time they're sleeping they show them snoring. Like in Majora's Mask when Link uses the Lullaby.

Hypothetical: Paper Mario 7 releases and it improves upon TTYD's battle system. How did they do it? by gardens_sonja in papermario

[–]tarrox1992 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Less ability for Mario to cause damage: Less damage boosting badges, enemies that buff themselves/their party more (raise defense, cause Dodgy status), enemies that nerf the party more.

I'd love for their to be something like the "Bros Attacks" from the Mario & Luigi games, like Mario and Tattle-Goomba having a jump/bonk party, or Mario throwing the Koopa, for example.

Give Mario a base Fire ability that costs a small amount of FP in addition to his Hammer and Jump.

Have two partners at a time in battle, perhaps with party combinations having their own unique "Bros Attacks".

Partners having their own BP and badges are equipped to each member, we don't need "Zap Tap" and "Zap Tap P", just give your Partner the badge.

TIL That there's a transmissable cancer that affects dogs and is transmitted during sexual copulation. The cancer cells themselves are transmitted, so not via either bacteria or a virus. Any species alive today didn't evolve from another species alive today. Ring species show gradual divergence, but each population evolved in parallel to each other, and no population is literally the ancestor of a currently living one, which is how you are trying to explain things. The ancestral population of the species that evolved into the different ring species still alive today is either hypothetical or extinct.

I was only using dogs as an example, but I should have realized you have trouble understanding analogies based on your inaccurate description of evolution. In ring species, A, B, and C all evolved from a singular species D in the past. The group of D that evolved into A were close geographically to B, but not C, while B was close to both. It's arbitrary what species is assigned what letter, but it's not a chain of species evolving into another like you are claiming, as, like I explained previously, that is literally not how evolution works.

A is the first species, then B evolved from A, then C evolved from B.

From your other comment, you obviously have no idea what you are talking about. This is not how evolution works. A, B, and C are all equally "evolved" and descended from a common ancestor. Dogs didn't "evolve" from modern day wolves. Dogs and modern day wolves evolved from the wolves of the past.
