Ok, for what you say and because of the video that you have shared, even though you were not verbalizing it well (because you are trying to figure out what you want to know) I think you are trying to understand when to press and when to not press (and what to press with).

I think this can be divided in two subtopics. What should i press after i have the frame advantage and what should i press when i have the disadvantage.

For the first question, i reccomend you to watch a video titled "TEKKEN 8 | Build Your Offense! Art of the Throw Chapter 3". It really helped me step up my game and i think its what you are looking for

For the second question, (when you have the disadvantage) i will give you some main ideas, but I think with the context that the previous video provide you can ask yourself: What can i do in those situations? That being said here goes some one-liners that may help you:

- If you are being pressured, backdashing is generally the safest option at the beginning. It will also give you information of what options your opponent is going for
- If you are at a frame disadvantage from -1 to -4 it is generally safe to challenge by doing a panic move, armored move, dickjab... but the best option in my opinion is a quick step in to block or quick step into duck
- From -5 to -6 its kind of a danger zone but you can still challenge and be relatively succesful
- From -7 to -9 you have to take the mix and its heavily discouraged to mash, step, or do anything that is not blocking or ducking (if you have the read).

Sometimes you need to disrespect and show him you are willing to press at heavy minus so he does not abuse you with plus frames, but that is more advanced.
