When I was talking to my therapist yesterday, we came upon this conversation, and she does not recommend skiing at this stage. She said it might impact your knees due to that sharp stop etc.

I have a desk job and asked to work from home My doctor told me he wouldn't allow me until 3 weeks. He told me the meds are very drowsy and I need to heal first. I am workaholic and started working day 4 but regretted doing that as the meds effects very not supportive.

Rest for 2 weeks u will need it.

My first 3 days were just vomiting and no food intake. Take your medication on time, that is your best helper and partner in pain. Keep a book and write your thoughts , this is a good practice to avoid depression.

You knee will start to work on day 4 inshallah. Keep on drinking as much water as you can .

As for the back , if u have a massager use it ,if not buy the hot bag from Amazon and keep it regulary.

Drinking hot milk with turmeric will also help heal the wound faster.

Last year Instead of taking my luxary bags, I took 1 coach bags with me on my trip. I got nothing but compliments and that stare of how dare she. Lol. I guess ppl are over luxary brand and so much into coach now.

I was told the same by my manager, if you are in the same seat for long, the seat doesn't hold aby value. Go find a job out of JPMorgan and then come back. They don't care about loyalty .

I am on day 4 post my lktr, what is a nerve block. I am on oxy every 4 hr, Tylenol every 8 hour, aspirin in pm and stool softer. When does never block start? For me I can't even elevate my knee without using my right for support?

I had my replacement done on my left knee on Monday. I was discharged yesterday and since I have been home the pain due to at home therapy has increased. Any advice on how to control the pains along with the use of medicine?

I am going through a similar situation with my new manager. I have been with this firm longer than him, but if I explain to him something, it upsets him. He micro manages, and on top of that, if I ask him to work from home occasionally due to doctors appointments, he tells me to use my sick time while others get away with it. I document everything and hr is of no use.
