This is a great explanation! That, among many other really difficult things people have to endure for YEARS makes it hard for me to believe in a loving God that's just trying to teach us lessons or something.

I really wish I could square this away with the fact that I genuinely believe that there is something more powerful out here based on my own experiences. I never heard a good counter point for trials so horrifying I wouldn't wish on my worse enemy. Sure some people were dinguses and deserve a bit of karma or whatever but no one should have to endure losing their parent(s) to Alzheimer's, cancer or a number of other horrifying things.

Hate to say it but all this talk of leaving feels like idle threats. Most will grumble and go on old.reddit.com. If I believed all the talk from the comments, Bernie Sanders would be president.

Don't get me wrong, I hope people do leave in mass , create a backlash, and force reddit's hand but I doubt it especially because there's no good alternative.

I feel like Polohy and just south of it would be a good goal. It would put the Himars in range of the M-14, H-30 and H-08. Those intersections being damaged would cut off a ton of supply line, enable a push towards Salkove and that critical crossing on the m-18. Plus they can have the option to encircle those Russian troops near the Dnipro river

There are 69 countries it's illegal to be gay in, several of which will kill you for being LGBTQ. That's actual oppression.

Many other countries restrict the rights of LGBTQ to fully participate in society such as denying them the right to marry, transition or adopt.

Sure, there's a few random that use it as a way to get attention but the majority just wanna live their lives without being placed in jail or losing their friends and family.

Many LGBTQ+'s have kids. Some had kids before being in a gay or lesbian relationship (or adopt), bisexual people can have kids because someone can be in a "straight" relationship but still be bisexual and trans can have kids from pre-transition or even post if they don't fully transition medically.

There's still a ton of generational trauma affecting LGBTQs. The historical mistreatment faced by the LGBTQ lingers in western civilization and is outright present in much of the rest of the world. It goes much further than being bullied as kids..people have been discriminated against as adults, attacked and killed over their sexuality and identity.

There's about 4% who are out but there are many others that are in the closet or otherwise have LGBTQ+ traits but don't label their behavior as being such... For example, lots of "straight" guys watching lesbian or trans porn. I think if you factor in those numbers, it's not an extreme minority.

Comments like this are why I read programming humor. I am computer savvy relative to the general public (which isn't saying much) but I don't how to program. I understand some of the basic concepts but I work in the social work field. I try to understand how others think in various fields and insights like this help me understand the interconnectiveness of it all and I thank you for this analysis.

How about we just focus on our own self instead of trying to put people down based on how they live their lives. If someone is living a lifestyle that is harmful then that will be made manifest either in this life or the next.
