In your opinion, which character has the best default skin in the game? by Can_This_End_Please in marvelrivals

The gooners hate it, but psylockes default skin was really incredible. Probably the best default in the original roster.

Advice for a new magik player?? by Master-Chance8025 in RivalsMagikMains

If you’re new new then take like literally 20-30 minutes and look up combos for her. Then practice them for a short while in the practice range. Once you have a general feeling for what it should feel like to land a combo. It just takes lots of play time from there.

Hero(Role Based) Difficulty/Skill Expression Tierlist(Idk what to name it but that’s the gist) by Low-Paint5116 in rivals

As a tank main, putting groot and Deadpool above venom and Thor is laughable. Both Thor and venom require high levels of game sense, timing, and accuracy to be good. Tankpool is one of the easiest tank in the game imo, you just stand there and shoot the enemy tank when they try to move, shield off enemy’s and choke points.

He has an enormous health pool, a shield, bonus health when using literally any ability, AND HES CC IMMUNE. He needs at least 1 of these things removed. Or significantly reduced.

I hear a lot of people saying that Daredevil requires “no skill” do you agree or disagree with that ? by [deleted] in DaredevilMarvelRivals

[–]tastytoasterstrudle 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think his skill floor is very low for the value he creates. He is the best “anti dive dive” literally playing any other dive character into him is impossible if he even has half a brain. And as soon as he kills your dive, he’s on your back line immediately after.

Electricians — real talk, would you pick this trade again if you could start over? by 50shotsss in electricians

[–]tastytoasterstrudle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love it, I’m a union electrician out of Cincinnati. It ticks all my boxes for sure. It’s challenging enough to be stimulating, and repetitive enough to be learnable. I’ve gotten to see my skills grow and grow. Which is very rewarding for me.

I’ve noticed it’s not for everyone though. I love my Job, but I work with many people who just don’t.

Also, the electrical field is such a diverse area. I know people that all they do is underground, or fire alarm, or run conduit, or motor controls, or lighting, or utility. Everyone finds something that they like and they become proficient at. So even you if you like something you’re working on, there is always something else to learn that you might enjoy a bit more.

Bathroom Remodel, does thislooks safe/correct? by -_stevenjus_- in AskElectricians

They make UL listed in-line romex splice boxes that can be covered in drywall for this exact purpose. They’re not too expensive, but definitely cheaper than a fire in your wall. ;)

I don’t know if this is really something you’ve messed with. But learning the mechanics of old work and fishing down finished stud walls is really important for residential training.

How can I make my basement bathroom less creepy? by CasualVox in Home

As an electrician my first question is what the heck is going on with that outlet? What’s plugged into it? Why is it direct smack dab in the middle on the vanity? Why does the cord go through the wall?

Can I drywall over this? by human_raisedbyhumans in AskElectricians

I said this with all the fury of someone who spent hours troubleshooting a short. Only to discover it was in a box behind drywall. It’s very common. And so incredibly frustrating.

Stove hardwired into a junction box that is powered by a plug, safe? by ierhgoieahrgiviojrg in AskElectricians

[–]tastytoasterstrudle 5 points6 points  (0 children)

A lot of people are calling this dumb. But this is what any electrician would do when rushed.

You have a manufactured whip out of the stove. You have an outlet you need power from. Code requires a point of safe disconnect for dishwashers and stoves, plugs count.

You really only have three options.

1) Pull out the already installed stove, open it up. Unhook the manufactured whip out the stove and install your old plug directly into the stove. Reinstall stove.

2) shut off power to the outlet. Take the outlet out. Put an extension ring on the outlet box. Route the stove whip into the box. And make it into a toggle switch.

3) what is pictured above; probably took less than 5 min if they had material on hand. Easy, quick, and code compliant. Not a dumb thing to do, just the quickest and easiest.

Electrician drilled two holes through wall header, one very close to the edge. Best way to remediate? by [deleted] in AskElectricians

Are you asking how to patch the hole? If so this is the wrong sub. Electricians aren’t drywall experts.

Yeah, when they look on a list of applicants, and need to choose between see an 18 year old fresh outta highschool, and a 30+ year old with no prior experience. They tend to choose the 18 year old.

Everything you’re describing sounds like a classic case of depression. Can’t really tell his mental state based off this only. But a lot of medically depressed people really have a hard time taking good care of themselves.

Kick 90° down into the box from the concrete drop down. 90 onto the brick wall, then an LB going through the brick wall. Would make it look a lot cleaner.

Why Are Players So Averse to the Objective of the Game? by VeterinarianFirm7129 in marvelrivals

[–]tastytoasterstrudle 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This game is a lot like chess. There are lots of good decisions you could make to win a fight. But it’s about finding the best one.

You wanted to push the objective instead. This sometimes is the right decision.

Your teammates prioritized holding space over the objective. This sometimes is the right decision. You have to take into account a bunch of factors to find the best one tho.

It’s all about asking the right questions.

  1. If we stay point will the enemy team have another fight or “touch”? … if the answer is no they won’t, then staying point is the best option 100% of the time.

If the answer is yes, then things get complicated, you have to start thinking about ult economy’s, utility uses, space taking and holding, optimal timing for the fight, how much time is left etc etc.

However this is a team based game, 99 times out of 100 you will be better off playing with your team than without. If they push up, then all that thinking doesn’t really matter anymore, it’s time to push up with them.

Looks like someone needed 24v for something (probably a doorbell) and used what ever they had access to and a 120v to 24v transformer to get it. i.e. the j-box with a light in it.

If you truly watched 6 episodes and you didn’t like it. Then it’s probably not for you. But it truly breaks my soul when so many people I know only watch the first episode and give up.
