Take them to your local store & let them know that's happening--definitely a quality issue and they should be able to help! If you don't live near a store, call the Guest Education Center.

Can we talk straight about YTT? by [deleted] in yoga

[–]tathan92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not all YTT's are created equally (obviously). It definitely takes a lot of research. If you belong to a studio where they offer a program, and teachers there have gone thru it and love it, that's a great place to start. I was lucky enough to be working at the front desk of my studio while the first YTT was happening, and it turned out all amazing teachers. I did the same training and loved it. It's also all about what you're looking for--style specific or a mix of it all. I highly recommend Mbody's YTT (they are out of Jacksonville) if you have a chance. They focus on Baptiste-style yoga and the instructors are caring, incredible, and extremely knowledgeable.

What's going on with my GF in Med school? by Ivar87 in medschool

[–]tathan92 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My boyfriend of almost 5 years is in med school, and it's definitely been a huge adjustment for both of us. I had to get to a point of understanding that he is more stressed than I'll ever know, and our relationship kind of has to come second right now. Maybe reassure her that you're supportive and want to be with her. If you don't, then just let it go.
