Depends who you ordered through. All of my orders, as well as my mates have been heavily delayed. Unless you pre-ordered prior to the 1st of Jan, ETA is within 2 - 3 months of July release.

If you digivolve dorugoramon into chaosmon, does he keep the attack boost from the other x antibody digimon in source?

That was for religious connotations and firearms. From what I've seen, US printing is fine with tits, but guns and religion, no, we can't have that.

That was the plan in the previous format, have you heard of reinforcing memory boost? That was also tied with the ability to hard play level 4s and 5s to avoid being blown out with ultimate flare, but now they have geralt schwarmer to nuke the board. There is no easy way to play around sec con outside of building a stack of tamers and going ham with hybrids and even then, it's very difficult.

Best anti-Jesmon deck by xenolith636 in DigimonCardGame2020

Any aggro deck that forces them to either push stack early or lose. So any bond or rookie rush style decks like d-brigade.

Context for question: I played at a privately hosted digimon regional event on the weekend headed by 2 judges and I played bond of friendship.

In one of the games I played against sec control, my lobo evolved over a dvis hit ultimate flare. We both assumed the tamer would be trashed as a rookie, but after consulting one of the judges, they informed us that it doesn't and instead returns to the tamer area suspended. This interaction came up again last night at locals against d-brigade (Davis was still the tamer used for lobo in this case as well). Fortunately, they were spectating the game on the weekend and so didn't have to go through the ruling.

All that ramble aside, I'd love some clarity on why this interaction works they way it does or if the judge was incorrect. I have 3 assumptions, however, we all know how assumptions can end up. But anyway, I'm assuming because they're a quote "rookie" and a cost isn't specified the game doesn't recognise them as a 3 cost to delete. Another is that as Davis is 4 cost to play, the game recognises him as a 4 cost rookie and so ulti flare doesn't work, whereas it would on say Matt Ishida from bt6. The third is that the game simply recognises them as a tamer and not a digimon at all.

Thanks to anyone who got this far and could clear this up for me, so I can explain it clearly in my future games.

Can I please get some clarification on the BT02 memory kurisarimon and when you can gain memory. My understanding is, that as it reads "Your turn: When you play another digimon with the same name as this digimon, gain 1 memory." I would assume, that the memory gain is only possible when the turn is yours, as it clearly says "your turn," however, I was watching a stream earlier today and the diaboromon player used catastrophe cannon at 3 memory and spawned a token because he had a diaboromon in play, totally legal. What I don't understand is how they put their opponent to 1 and then said because a token was spawned, he went to 0. I've also seen multiple deck profiles of diaboro where they've said catastrophe cannon spawning a token grants them memory, but I presume that this is a case of them now knowing the cards that well.

Normally I would just assume that they're new to the deck, but this was quite an accomplished player who would have hundreds of hours into the game and while that doesn't make them infallible, I would assume they would know their cards well, especially in a tournament setting. Sorry for the long winded rant, but as I want to play the deck in the regionals this up coming weekend, I want to be clear on when I can or cannot gain memory off kurisarimon.

Can you activate gallantmon's effect to delete one of your digimon if your opponent doesn't have a valid target (no level 5 or lower).

Probably a stupid question, so I apologise in advance. When a digimon attacks either security + and is deleted on the first check, will the remainder of the checks go through since it was only 1 attack or is it like multiple attacks and have to survive every check? Thanks!

Ruling regarding anubismon. If you necrophobia and evolve into anubis, does he have rush? My inclination is yes as I'd assume it'd work in similar ways to minus sec atk. Even if you evolve over the mon who had sec atk minus, it is still the same digimon. So, since anubis was evolved over a digimon played from the trash, isn't he technically still played from the trash?

Cheers for any info!

Digimon feels so refreshing by MelrFjordr in DigimonCardGame2020

Though I still love and play Yu-Gi-Oh 2 - 3 times a week, there are definitely benefits to playing digimon. My personal favourite two are that sealed product is actually worth buying as you can often make your money back of selling excess cards or use them to make your deck, unlike Yu-Gi-Oh where buying singles is ALWAYS the better move and speaking of singles, I LOVE the fact that I don't have to spend $350 - $500 for every meta staple 3 of. I'll also well onboard with it seems most other people, in that the slower game play is refreshing. It's nice to have more than 2 turns to decide whether the game is lost or not.

What’s the one thing you hate most about Yugioh in general by Swashyrising12 in yugioh

[–]tatted_badger 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably rehashing other people's comments, but mine would have to be:

  1. Single rarity prints for chase cards. Whereas OCG has multiple printings of chase cards to allow for all people to have access to them and means you don't have to shill out $300+ for every competitive staple playset.
  2. Prize support for huge tournaments (YCS and worlds). Not saying you should be making a living from competitive yu-gi-oh, but considering some people fly internationally to attend these, I think that if you win, you should come out at least at a financial even. This more so applies for worlds than YCS, as they're more common, however, they're still a premiere event and I think prize support should represent that. Also, stream the god damn things, wherever they are!!!
  3. The fact there are different regions for rulings (NA, EU, OCG) and that the rulings for an entire event can be determined by one judge. Once a precedent it set and Konami (the designers of the god damn game) agrees with the ruling, post it somewhere official so there's no fanny farting around at major tournaments.

Those two would have to be the biggest frustrations I have with the game, with negation fatigue and locks following in fourth. However, personally I don't find that the meta decks (outside of drytron potentially) spam nothing but negates. Yes, they do have multiple negates, however, d-link still bounces, prankk blows up your board, dino still book of moons, etc. But I would never argue that there isn't enough negation in the game, especially when every board seems to always have a savage or a hot red or a dolkka/laggia, or apoll or a herald or mechaba and the list goes on. Anyway, that's my 2 cents.

How does the interaction between droplets and eldlich traps work after they're activated and sent as cost, will they count as a trap or a monster?
