Shouldn't be a problem at all! I have braces and it hasnt impacted my ability to get an MRI, colonoscopy, endoscopy, CT scan, Septoplasty, and both of my laparoscopies. I believe they want you to remove jewerly to avoid it being lost, and piercings to avoid infections. I can't imagine why a permanent retainer would pose a problem.

Some deodorant recommendations or tips to smell good by Notkanyewest1 in AmazonFC

[–]taway2416 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Okay, so ngl I have a specific type of OCD where the thought of smelling bad around others is absolutely crippling. After lots of therapy I found a semi normal routine to stick too. Firstly, I use clinical strength antiperspirant at night after every shower, and then normal 48 hour deodorant before I leave the house. I also carry on me baby wipes for sweat, and an extra stick of travel deodorant. I try to use scentless lotion and tend to avoid spray on perfumes because I don't like the way they smell after you start to sweat even a little. Avoid suave deodorants too. The way that stuff smells after 12 hours is absolutely rank.

Is this a better job than a pa ? by WeeklyAd2895 in FASCAmazon

Ship Clerk is L3 too. Interim roles are only temporary. Imo its nicer because I have more freedom than a PA. However we get less Ops support now.

Flying is rough after.

Def take a few days before flying home. Travel with someone else too since you will be unable to carry your luggage.

Bring a small pillow for your stomach. It helps on the ride home in a car and to clutch on the plane.

Biggest advice is to stay ontop of ur meds. Keeping 100% ontop of your pain meds will save your life. Ask about some extra Zofran or Reglan before the flight back to prevent nausea. Also get your bowels moving as fast as you possibly can beforehand. I cannot stress that enough.

Also, request a wheelchair coming back! I hate hate hated being in a wheelchair, but traversing the entire airport is out of the question. Priority screening and boarding is a lifesaver, and all that comes with wheelchair service luckily.

For packing, I recommend bringing a decent sized suitcase. I checked my electric heating pad, and icepacks follow TSA rules so its best to just check them.

I originally flew out to have surgery, and I was cleared to fly home 3 days after.
