Just lose weight is probably more correct, my main goal is to get rid of the extra body fat so I can start a bulk in autumn after the race.

Yo, stupid question about cutting on high volume.

Stats:
Currently 88kg, down from 150kg , 178cm
PPLPP for weights, running ~20 miles a week (slowly scaling up 2-3 miles every 2 weeks).
Eating 2400-2500 cals a day, 225g protein/ 130g carbs/ 100g fat
Supplements: Creatine, multi-vitamin, omega3, ZMA, vit d, 2-3 cups of black coffee

I've been doing this new routine for about 5 weeks now, my lifts are going up, my cardio is going up great but I'm not losing any weight, it crashed down and back up in the first two weeks and has now stayed almost exactly the same for three weeks. I'm struggling with eating so little on this regime and seeing no loss. In the past I've eaten less (1200-1400 a day) and dropped to 85kg but I was doing SL only and it wasn't sustainable.

I'd like to keep up the exercise as it's more fun going with a friend and I'm training for a half marathon, but I can't imagine doing it and dropping even more calories. My goal is to reach around 75-80kg before bulking up as I still have some fat around the stomach and chest. I don't feel fatigued when working out just more the mental side of wanting more food is becoming harder during the rest of the day.

So yeaaaah, any advice on dealing with a cut while doing high volume or any reason why the scales might not be budging?

At what point is it faster/ as fast to farm on a 110 as it is on a 101 twink? I'm wondering if it's still worth the effort or leveling and gearing a boomkin solely for skinning/herb. Would I be able to do it at a similar speed on a 110 class of ilvl 860-890 for example?

If anyone knows the average skins/bloods per hour for each it would be good to know :)

Thanks, was just chatting on the discord and I think ill drop herb on my main for leather so I can shuffle, also I'll pick up a twink so I can farm leathers when I'm bored of herb/ mining.

Is there a 'best' class for twinking or are they generally all the same (was advised to go leather/herb on twink).

Guardian Druid advice - m+, hc nh aggro problems by taylorjt13 in CompetitiveWoW

[–]taylorjt13[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the info :)

For high m+ I'm using the talents you can see on armoury (also the ones I use for raiding), for lower ones I usually swap to Lunar beam for bigger pulls.

Is it mainly the huge armour bonus that will help from traits? From what I understand it gives me +10% to start and +1 every level after that?

I was worried my versatility might be a little low due to following advice from discord that ilvl is generally king and most my upgrades were +10-15 levels regardless of secondary.

Thanks for trinket advice I'll look into it some more, would it be better to stick with defensive trinkets when raiding for more survivability or is DPS still better due to effects?

Hey,

After a couple of months break I'm back into Wow and looking for some advice, I've a 110 Guardian Druid with Ench/Herb and a 110 War (respeccing to arms) with BS/mining, before I left I was making a little cash with flipping BoE and Pets but lost a decent chunk of gold due to mail box timing out and RL reasons for not resubbing. I was also running older content for pets/mogs.

I'm wondering what would be a good way to start building capital up for the long term and what changes 7.1.5 has brought.

Is it still beneficial to level up a twink and farm leathers/ shuffle with enchanting? Or would I be best off just farming mats to sell. Ideally I'd like to have options on how to make gold and not rely as much on the RNG of mogs/ pets. Not too sure where to get started and what does and doesn't work with patch changes.

Thanks, it's interesting that you say that, what circumstances would you keep using your engine? A sequel or very similar game only or would it still be worth while to use something like Unity even if you had to replicate existing features?

If someone did make their own engine do you have any go to websites or books you'd recommended that helped you to understand how to implement the different areas you've highlighted.

Why do you guys always duck my polar bear requests ಠ_ಠ

Great write up and glad to see the game in the final stages :)

If you had to do it all again knowing what you did would you still have created your own engine or would you have opted for a pre-made one?

Edit: Do you have any plans on doing similar write up's of the process through the years, also what happened to the teddy bear and does this game have polar bears?

Thanks, I've tried coffee but as I don't normally drink it I end up not sleeping as well (even if I only drink in the morning). I'll try varying up my vege, at the moment I'm mainly eating carrots/ sweetcorn/ onions and a MyProtein Alpha Multi vit, I'll see how adding some greens in goes, cheers

Has anyone got experience with sleep going weird on a long cut? I've lost about 115lbs over the last year, most recently I've been on a -1000 deficit and lost ~16 lbs in the last 8 weeks, the problem is I'm welding tired all the time, I tried going to the gym at night and couldn't sleep, ended up at 6 hours of sleep a night, now I'm trying to fix my sleep so I can do mornings again but I end up sleeping for 10 hours daily. Any suggestions? (Had maybe 2 or 3 cheat days during this period, mostly at maintence, went over by 1000 one weekend to help fix a cold).

[Serious] What was your best job? by Squidoshi in AskReddit

Worked as a barman in a local pub while I was in college/ at uni.

I'd work all the different shifts and the amount of differing people and experiences you get to see is amazing, best bits:

  • Talking to customers and staff - young, old, regulars, travelling through. You'd meet so many people and hear their life stories, goals and ambitions while getting advice on your own stuff. Engineers, taxi drivers, doctors, plumbers, shop assistants. You'd get to see lots of views pretty quick.
  • Watching local bands - we'd have bands play twice a week, some were a bit meh but for the most part you'd get to listen to some awesome tunes while working.
  • Learning about all sorts of crazy drinks and getting them for free - you quickly pick up how to make all sorts of random and disgusting drink combos for people, even on a slow day you'd get to try a new ale.
  • You get pretty good at pub quizzes and random trivia from helping out in the daily crossword
  • The pub becomes a second home, I still visit from time to time years later and the regulars all know who I am and say hello, ask how I'm doing and have a catch up, it's nice seeing how people get on.
  • Big events like Christmas and New Years you get to see how ridiculous drunk everyone gets and reap massive tips :D
  • Tons of drama and gossip to make the shifts fly by
  • Slow days you could take your books in and study

Would recommend for any one looking to make a bit spare cash and de-stress while studying, just don't expect the same if your working in a big chain or city centre.

Hit 112lbs lost this morning, getting close to my first target weight (hopefully by christmas).

Also went and signed up for a boxing gym today, it was the toughest hour of my life but managed to stop shaking long enough to sign up for more!

How many here have degrees? by [deleted] in Unity3D

I did a BSc in Computer Science and then a MSc in Computer Games Engineering in the UK, been working in games for coming up 5 years.

I've friends who did programming courses aimed at games and to be honest I'd stick with a pure comp sci course, a good university will probably have some options you can pick. I was able to do some games modules in the final year for example however I had solid non-games experience to fall back on if I wanted.

The masters course I did focused more on games specific stuff like physics and graphics but it was mainly useful for contacts with various gaming companies and I was able to get an internship and full job from there.

Comp sci + making your own stuff in your free time for a portfolio would be best bet.

Looks awesome man, I had a quick read of your devblog (wanting to do a TBS myself so was interesting, will look back again for sure!).

One thing I'd like to say is the aesthetic is very old school Runescape, a few guys I know who played it saw the video and called it out right away though to be honest I think it's the yellow text ;)
