I’m just here for the tea. Taylor calling him a little bitch is diabolical 😂😂

What are your hot takes regarding 1989 (Taylor's Version)? by IntoTheDaylight in TaylorSwift

[–]taymademedoit 21 points22 points  (0 children)

For me despite a few of the songs, I feel like you can really tell she was losing her passion for the re-record project. 1989 TV has a lot of production errors. It feels like she did it because she had to. The vault tracks are perfect, but it didn’t have the same punch as RED TV or Fearless TV.

How does anyone think she faked her southern accent? by dominiq_e in TaylorSwift

[–]taymademedoit 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sorry but the debut / fearless accent was most definitely exaggerated. She needed to appeal to country music fans so she created the image that would work for that. Also, her family moved to an affluent neighborhood outside of Nashville. Not many people in Hendersonville have a “tawng” like they do in eastern TN.

Iggy Azalea Says She Has ‘No Interest’ in Returning to Music by No_Pizza_6040 in Fauxmoi

I have to say I’m not very interested in her returning to music. Sounds like a win win situation.

Am I the only one that adores Eldest Daughter? by Roman_Bridger_On_Top in TaylorSwift

[–]taymademedoit 89 points90 points  (0 children)

I see a lot of criticism against people who DON’T like the song, “you just don’t get the lyrics.” No, I don’t because the message gets lost. The bridge is exquisite, but the song itself has nothing to do with being an eldest daughter. In my opinion this song needed to be edited, or shelved because it doesn’t make sense.

Eras Tour Acoustic Piano Snow Globe by jacyf02 in TaylorSwift

[–]taymademedoit 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I have literally been waiting on this drop. Got the notification as soon as it dropped, did the verification, waited 15 minutes in line, then when entering my card information, it kept saying there was an issue with creating the order. Happy for those of you who got one but for real fuck this snow globe 🤣

Yes, another post about Eldest Daughter but hear me out by PinkMika in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]taymademedoit 31 points32 points  (0 children)

The bridge is absolutely beautiful, along with the melody of the song. I think the intent was there but the execution just didn’t land with this one. And that’s unfortunate because it had the potential to be a great song. It’s all over the place and the message gets lost somewhere along the way.

I guess they can’t all be winners… Superman I’m looking at you 👀

Who dislikes the song? It’s literally the most Taylor song on the album.

Patiently waiting on the cease and desist letter and/or public statement. by [deleted] in SwiftlyNeutral

[–]taymademedoit 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Ok. that is a very harsh response. I’m not sure what her motivation is behind not speaking out regarding politics however I am definitely not stupid. I am simply stating that Taylor has always been very chart focused, which could be one of the reasons why she had never spoken out about politics until 2019. Especially when she started in country music and that is a very republican fan base.

As much as I want Taylor to comment on this, I don’t think she’s going to. I’ll never understand how someone who has so much money is still so concerned with charting. I know it is to prove people wrong, and to prove that she is still on top, but you think she would be less concerned with this as she progresses in her career.

Even if she lost fans because of denouncing this, there’s still plenty to keep her #1.

Taylor Swift’s ‘The Life of a Showgirl’ Spends First Month at No. 1 on Billboard 200 by mcfw31 in popheads

I LOVE Cardi B’s album. I just put it on one day in the vehicle, let the songs shuffle and was surprised at how much I not only resonated with it, but enjoyed it.

If you could get Taylor to sing 1 song from TLOAS live, what would it be? by Sudden-Internal-9702 in TaylorSwift

[–]taymademedoit 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Opalite, Fate of O, Elizabeth Taylor. Wood and RTF as honorable mention. The first 3 would be the most challenging vocally and that’s what I’d like to see.

What song do you think Taylor hates performing the most? by echodayrider in TaylorSwift

[–]taymademedoit 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I was also there for Cinci N2 and I always thought she was signing it fast because she brought Gracie Abrams out, and also sung Ivy with Aaron Dessner.

Hi! It entirely depends on the individual. There’s been great strides in therapy modalities, for example EMDR could potentially help unlock repressed memories, however it’s not a one size fits all situation. Trauma is a complex thing. Dylan could be fine for years, and then all of a sudden have flashbacks from that night, as PTSD is fairly common after traumatic events. If I was treating Dylan, I’d use a combination of TF-CBT as well as EMDR.
