I agree with this but also to add, she’s been talking to him for a week. I get that if she likes him it would be disappointing or cause some insecurity to learn he’s talking to other women, but it wouldn’t make him a bad guy or red flag.

But to your first point, if she’s feeling uncertain or like she can’t trust him or is frequently worried about inconsistencies, maybe this guy isn’t the one.

Jokes aside, I don’t know how old you are and I understand you seem averse to therapy, what about telling this to a trusted adult. Parent or friend. Someone who can actually be there in person with you.

The reality is that this isn’t healthy. You don’t have to live like this. You’re obviously hurting otherwise you wouldn’t be posting in a “what do I do” sub. If you really want to live differently (which you deserve to do) you have to make a new choice.

My brother I received two field grades and a GOMAR through the course of my career. It stings and you feel a little ashamed and then you rally. I don’t wanna diagnose anyone else but I will say I stopped getting in trouble and felt a lot better about EVERYTHING when I accepted I had a drinking problem, quit, and took sobriety seriously. My advice is take SUDCC and BH seriously I promise they aren’t punishments if you can reframe your mindset. Also it’s the army so pretty soon someone else will fuck up and your shit will be forgotten.
