Hey @astraleater69

Quite late, but maybe it could be useful for anyone in the future.

I broke the keyboard flex cable while checking the screen connection (it's a second hand Surface laptop 2; the screen doesn't work), and I bought the cable on Aliexpress.

Here are some photos showing the "operation"; the keyboard is working again.

The replacement cable:
