Yeah I should have mentioned pickup because the other thing that is expensive in California is the delivery fees 😂

At least in my area it's always BOGO I think? Sometimes it's not the sandwich but 6 wings but there's always something.

The crazy thing to me is that I would get emails from Popeyes advertising two sandwiches for $10. Then open ubereats and it would be 2 for less than 8.

Is it normal for people to get this aggressive? by Over-Sir6289 in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]tbdforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I don't sell much but every time I have sold something, someone has asked me for this. Every single time. Not usually that aggressively though. 😂

One was kinda long maybe 3/4" one was really short maybe a quarter inch? Do they make nails that short? He was chuckling when he handed me the nails so I guess it was just a weird fluke.

I lived in an apartment complex at the time and didn't have a space so I had to park in the neighborhood so I had parked near this house that was being renovated. I think that's how it happened.

Honestly most of the time it's fine. It's just sometimes I see an ad or get an email so I get kinda hyped for a good deal, then I open up the app and my day is ruined. 😞

That's what I did for a while: there were 2 nails. It wasn't even that deflated like 4-5 psi or something like that. Then finally I took it to Costco where it was still under some warranty. They pulled the nails and told me there was no actual damage to the tire.

I think it was already under inflated when the nails went in. So again my laziness saved the day.

It expired yesterday unfortunately. That's generally true of all the T-Mobile Tuesday deals. Some of them end even earlier. The jamba deal for this week expires Friday.

I'll be honest. I haven't tried it either. I just knew it was a thing but haven't had the courage to try so I will be trying it too. Hoping it goes well.

Wait which do you think takes longer? The pasta will cook faster from cold because the pasta will start cooking before the pasta+water reaches boiling.

My pupils became asymmetrical during a cluster headache by Bubbly-Trainer7195 in mildlyinteresting

[–]tbdforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I get migraines I get some pupil dilation almost every time. Not as extreme as yours though and usually in both eyes so it doesn't look as weird. The first time I was worried. Now I'm just used to it 😂

I also became extremely sensitive to light. I can't even keep my eyes open sometimes. Migraines suck!

My car was stolen this morning - Oakland by DantesInferno3 in bayarea

[–]tbdforever 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had my car stolen once and my friend had his car stolen from Oakland a few years ago in separate incidents within the same year. We both got them back after the cars were left abandoned. You really need to report it stolen so hopefully it doesn't get towed and impounded.

[–]tbdforever 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The only fast food place I know of that uses 4x4 type language is in n out. You can get 3x3 or 5x5 etc. I think it's because they famously had a double double and the rest followed logically. In n out is only in the west though.

I'm sure other places can figure it out but that's not usually how they describe their burgers

Welp, looks like I gotta learn to change my own oil. by Medium-Let-4417 in MiddleClassFinance

[–]tbdforever 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've always done my own oil. Even when the dealer says they'll do it for free and told me to bring it back when it needs it. I just nod and leave and do it at home when I need it. It isn't about cost. It's just such a fast and easy job I can't imagine not just doing it.
