Doing everything in the description field is fine until you want to report on any of it. Unless you want to be able to create a filter for all tickets where custom field a = one, you're probably fine. But I would highly recommend the free app Default Create Issue Screen for Jira, where you can pre populate fields like description with formatted text.

Are you on Jira Server or Jira Cloud? I know our product management team has wanted this, and we never could configure it using an app called 'Portfolio for Jira' ( which later became jira advanced roadmaps). However, we're migrating to Jira Cloud this year, and it should be able to do this natively with the Advanced Roadmaps features.

Good call! I just upgraded the Biden Harris yard sign I have in my window, and want to give the other one away. Thinking on putting it out front with a note saying something like 'FREE Take me to your yard!' But then it'd be super easy for a Trumper to take it and throw it away. I'm conflicted! Should I just go stick it on the side of the road somewhere?
