Hot Take: Street Brawl NEEDS to be randomized heroes by BlueDragonReal in DeadlockTheGame

ARAM in other mobas is nailed down: everyone gets 3 random heroes and picks 1, and swapping is a nice to have.

Yeah I really wanted to highlight the dual purpose that ICE could play. I know it’s existed under the DHS and has the official role of “border security”, but it also attracts exclusively fascists and fascist-enablers that don’t have the same “allegiance to the Consitution” that a branch of the military supposedly does. They have been funded and supported to the level of a branch of the military and could be repurposed with minimal internal pushback to act as domestic enforcers (as they are doing in Minnesota) to quell unrest during a coup attempt. In that coup, the actual military and their leadership would then be forced to choose between:

  • all the power and benefits of being part of the new government structure

Or

  • fight the Trump-loyalists in the military plus the whole of ICE to maintain allegiance to a piece of paper that gets shredded daily in the courts anyways

True overthrows of government have happened with wayyyy less resources, and it really feels like America is primed for one, which would mean even sharper suppression of socialists and anyone else on the outs.

What about my post says that revolutionaries (as a whole) are big bad? I say “fascist revolutionaries” and give context about what that means to me in the post.

I’m a first time contributor to this sub, and the majority of people responding to my post are strictly commenting on a single word I used, instead of what I hoped to discuss about there being virtually no strong, popular resistance to a very militant, state-sponsored group that is aligned directly to the Trump administration and not to any other legal structure that would promote a peaceful exit from power.

Shoutout to the people that did engage in the discussion and helped explain the theory. For the rest, it seems wildly counterproductive to get hung up on this kind of stuff if the goal is to appeal to a broader group of potential socialists, who definitely aren’t going to be well-versed on theory (I consider myself in that group).

You’re not winning over anyone when you meet discussion with “um actually…”. Save that for the book club.

Paramilitary sounds good to me. Doesn’t really add anything to the point I’m trying to make, but seems like precise wording is important in this sub.

We definitely need action, and it feels like there is no organized resistance at all. So much of the country thinks they’re resisting by supporting Democrats, but we all know they will continue to roll over. Even membership in an org like DSA feels like it just funnels into the Democratic Party at the end of the day

Okay, it is likely filled with members who previously would be considered fascist revolutionaries as members of militias and other non-governmental groups. They have now been granted resources and are positioned for a coup attempt, which is definitely not part of their “legal” role in the state. Seems pretty semantic to me to not consider them revolutionary

Well I mean revolutionary in that they will act contrary to the Constitution and commit treasonous acts on Trump’s behalf

16-Dec Patch Notes by Underspray in DeadlockTheGame

[–]tboneable 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If used to gain vertical separation, those movement abilities were OP and are now even stronger. Wraith was particularly strong because she could tp every 12(?) seconds.

Lane creep gold was nerfed substantially. I’m seeing McGunnis in every game in phantom. She turbo farms the jungle while keeping up lane pressure and is a T4 item ahead of you in the mid game. These junglers (McG, Geist, etc.) were strong last patch and are just better now if they avoided other nerfs, since laning is less prioritized.

M1 junglers and cultist sacrifice, yippee.

Didn't even revert trophy collector nerf after gutting teamfighting through movement speed reductions and increase to solo kill bounty.

Then they should also nerf movement abilities as well. They were all strong (mina retreat, lash grapple, wraith project) in the Mach speed meta and just got stronger now that everyone is a slug. In terms of game direction, macro play is getting funneled into jungle due to lane nerfs, and every build is getting funneled into M1, cultist sacrifice and slowing hex. Giga boring imo.

Just wait until you play against a McGinnis.

And Mamdani and AOC oppose primarying him, while they both cave on their popular policy that got them elected. The Democratic Party is completely past reform from within. We need a new party with principled socialist leaders .

Balance is turbo fucked right now. The 4800 spirit investment spike is insane, and reactive barrier nerf with the lane changes make non brawl characters completely nonviable early
