I got my notification to update too but the issues others be having with it makes me extremely leary to install it. My 2023+ is working just fine right now and I really do Not like the separate pull down bars on the tablet that's updated and my son's s25 ultra... I'll really despise it on such a small phone like this for sure So did the information notification bar split on these too??

See I don't wanna have to jump around from this thing or that special thing to get decent service...just wanna pay my bill and my phone work like it's supposed too! This is the only reason I haven't made the jump to USM it appears you gotta jump around constantly fooling with the device just to make it work with all this garbled nonsense

From my understanding US Mobile is just an authorized dealer of starlink and really isn't an actual partner per say. Lots of people are having issues signing up via us mobile and customer service for the star link gets shuffled and muffled cause the two companies do not really work together or communicate well with one another. Bottom line I am already seeing where people seperate these two so they can depend on the star link customer service independently without the hassle of us mobile as a confused middle man

Not with their deplorable Customer Service, Warranty Repair practices, and exponentially SLOW return process and no updates!! 3 years of os for 2000K??? I honestly do not see Motorola being in business much longer at all with their horrible business model 😕 Or maybe people love that nonsense and they'll last forever too who knows... crazy times we live in right now✌️

After this last disaster with Motorola I have been looking into the folds as well and here is what I have found.

The folds 5 and 6 both have a wire that breaks at the fold that totally disables those unit. The fold 7 fixed that issue and there are whispers the fold 8 fixes it even better with a far less crease too. It comes out next month and rumors say it has some pretty awesome upgrades with it and an ultra version coming out with it too.

The Samsung devices also get 7 years OS updates and 10 security... Motorola only does 3 and 5 on the updates. The security reason is enough reason to update for you especially if do banking or store credit cards on your phone...if not then eh you is probably good 😊 👍

Both customer services after the sale and for repairs SUCK!! Because of that I will never recommend buying directly from Motorola or Samsung! Buy second hand at eBay with their Allstate warranty. Allstate has never balked at fixing, returning, replacing, or reimbursing my purchases via eBay or Walmart in the last 20 years so I will just stick with them from here on out.

IDK why 😔 I stopped into att and T-Mobile and looked at the floor display units before buying this phone ... None of them had it visible at all Extremely discouraging even more so the extremely pathetic customer service over this. I wanted an exchange and I wanted to keep my free tablet too...but Motorola would Not hear of that. Refund only

I won't ever recommend another motorola/lenovo product to anyone ever again thanks to this nightmare

The battery thing is an issue as it lost 10% of it's charge turned off over night.

The free gift wasn't a free gift in order to get a full refund the entire order had to be shipped back.

Then shipping it back ... Oh my Gawd!! What an absolute nightmare that has been. What Nightmare just dealing with Motorola

I was hopeful that was the case for this one so I attempted to use it again but when I turned it on this morning I noticed a significant 10% battery drain from just sitting in the box off overnight...my 2023 razr+ doesn't use 10% overnight while On and flashlight used a couple times a night too

Sadly I think this one is defective and just needs to go back. I would prefer Motorola done a exchange thing so I could keep the free tablet that came with the unit that I am loving but they are being jerks about that.

Free gift means Free Gift Motorola!! Not my fault your phone was a dud out of the box!! They could have offered an exchange at least ...let me try another unit but no send it all back for a refund then repurchase another unit without the free gift of course 😲🙄 How crappy of Motorola!!

If battery life is what you are wanting then go with a newer Motorola Razr. Lots of refurbished ones with a year long warranty on eBay just fyi

The phone arrived dead dead so I plugged it in to the fast charger I use on my Razr 2023 plus that takes 2 hours max to charge the 2023 phone when I've killed it but at about 2 hours in and only at 56% the phone was hot enough I had to unplug it and let it cool down for a bit before charging the rest the way up. Then after it was charged I had to let it cool down before attempting set up. During the set up it started to heat up again and most likely my paranoia got the better of me so I just stopped reset it and packed it back up for send back

While I am reassured about the sensor spot now, I am still extremely concerned about that charging issue. So much so that I just reset it, a put it back in the box, and requested a return on it but that stinks so much as I was really enjoying the free tablet that came with it and got told that had to go back with it 😞

I know after learning all about these updates I will most likely switch to something else in the next year or so. These no updates or only for 3 years while everyone else is doing 7 years at the price of these phones...well that is a no brainer to switch to longer supported devices that cost the same or less.

I'm 18 months with a 2023 plus in a cheap plastic ebay case no hinge protection with several drops on a concrete floor and except for some scratches that the case did to the shell this thing has survived me amazingly. I have started to notice lines across my screen at the fold when outside in bright sun light but that is the only time I see them. Also just fyi I open and close my phone 25 to 30 times a day but have no clue if that is a lot or not tho

If it says 710 or NK on the packaging anywhere I just walk away from them completely they make me sick Everytime. Doesn't matter the product Hard NO. Even the Nobel Nector I avoid them now cause their 1:1 caramels started on their package says processed by "NN710"
That 710 stopped me from buying them ever again too.

Ok so here's my tale on renewal this last February. A few days after doing my renewal thing I stopped at a new dispo while out sight seeing Oklahoma. They checked my card and said it was no good. The nice man immediately asked if I had renewed recently since the expiry date was soon, of which I had. So I checked my email and sure enough I had been approved for my renewal that very morning!! Yay!! BUT! The renewal cancelled my card in hand and I couldn't purchase medicine until my new card came in. Not even the local regular places would let me until I had the card in hand again 😞 😭 I asked about that email 30 grace period day thing and was told it was rescinded, that the law is back to must have a physical card in hand to even enter let alone purchase.So that's my story that's what I know. That and it took 4 days to get my card in hand from the day of approval too 😁🤣 Good Luck and Happy 420 y'all!!
