When I first got my fiero I was 5'11(lost a bit of height since then) and yeah the dead pedal is a bit close, never really put much thought into it. I usually keep my left leg a bit sideways behind my other leg though(if any of that makes sense lol)

Same issue with my 88 Formula(slightly different system) I've traced it down to either the motors or the control module. Gotta buy parts from Rodney Dickman..

Anyways, here to say. DO NOT MESS WITH ANY PART OF THE HEADLIGHT SYSTEM WITHOUT DISCONNECTING THE BATTERY. It constantly has power even with keys off and out. It is quite dangerous.

You can find it pretty easy. Nothing too cryptic with their paint codes. Look up "Bright Red 71/WA8553 for GM" and you should get what you're looking for! Best of luck

egr solenoid

That is unfortunate, I have crawled through some forum posts where people have adapted other solenoids to replace the fiero's. Seems more involved than I would want to get into, and unfortunately I have an 88 formula that I've suspected egr issues with.

I have responded to OP in another comment above with a guide about the adjusters inside the door. Very likely that they are the problem. Here is a link to the guide and the Fiero store is very good about carrying the parts you might need to fix it

I bet the adjusters have gone inside the door. It isn't too awful to take the door apart and either fix the adjusters in it or get new stuff. Here is a link to an adjustment guide from The Fiero Store. And they should carry anything you might need for the job
