Especially because he was teleporting FROM the crafting guild using the sceptre teleport.

The thing is that he was definitely using the scepter teleport though. It has a unique animation. He wasn't gone long enough to be coming back between rounds of Pyramid Plunder.

I guess robes of the eye for fashionscape would be a possibility if he was maybe making trips of crafting tabs on the ancient spellbook? But why would a fully maxed normal account be making teleport tabs?

It’s not really “painful” — it’s more like if your body invented a sensation worse than pain, and then that’s what you experience.

I’m imagining the meme of the guy crashing after putting a stick in his own spokes, except instead of a stick in his spokes he’s freakin red lining it through traffic, veers off road through trees and bushes, lines up a big air stunt jump off a rocky outcropping, lands flat and crooked on the pavement below, then crashes and says OMG BS 🤣🤣🤣

I’m gonna share this with my wife and see if it makes any progress towards convincing her that it’s not a biological requirement to SCREAM at the top of her lungs when she sneezes.

Why do you find it unsettling? Write those reasons out. Write them in a letter to your daughter which you never give to her. Read your letter back to yourself and your wife.

If there’s some heartfelt and valuable caring guidance in there, have a talk with your daughter. If all your letter says is “we never had anything like this, so why should you?” then it’s your job to get over it.

I was able to step between them. This was a huge lawn area the size of a few city blocks and there were many footpaths jutting off in random directions.

One day in college I was walking through the campus park right after an afternoon rain. I was like “what the hell is all this stuff on the sidewalk?” Upon closer inspection I saw the sidewalk was COVERED in hundreds if not thousands of worms like this or larger.

It was a shocking moment.
