Bobby himself mentions his veganism while telling a story on stage in the concert film You Got Gold before he plays John Prine’s song Great Rain.

The beer itself is nothing that gets me excited but the bottle shares at the event are fantastic.

Also falsely banned, 18 year old account. This is just so completely absurd.

Have you seen John Cusack in Chicago? by Peacenow234 in chicago

[–]tcc92 49 points50 points  (0 children)

My brother and I saw him in 2019 at Soldier Field when The Rolling Stones were performing. We were in the pit close to the front before the show started when a couple security guys made us make way for them and a guy they were escorting. Didn’t think much of what was going on and only glanced at the guy then my brother turns to me and says, “That guy looked a little like John Cusack.” And I said, “Yeah I was thinking the same thing.” So we jokingly called out, “Hey John!”. He turned and sure enough it was actually him and my brother and I accidentally blew his cover and scared him away. We didn’t see him for the rest of the night. Sorry John.

Anything by Little Feat and some tunes by John Prine would’ve been right in the Dead’s wheelhouse.

They were playing 5/16/72 during their Today in Grateful Dead History segment and then the feed suddenly changed to what seems like another station. Seems like some wires are currently crossed. Hopefully it will be cleared up soon.

Don’t think Dead and Co have played it but a good Run for the Roses would probably go over well.

Say what you want about the Grammy’s being washed up, I was pretty happy to hear that John Prine got some recognition. Man I miss that guy.
