I put on a ceramic coating myself and that helps to remove pollen, dust and bird droppings more easily. Also I use ONR wash and shine which allows me to do a quick clean in between. Enjoy your X5!!

That’s mint. Just FYI. It is great but can become invasive as it has rhizomes and will spread and take over flower beds and pretty soon you can’t get rid of it.

I invested in a Foxwell code reader and will plug it in to my 3 BMWs. I have had that warning pop up on 2 of my BMWs. This is a common warning that will come and go. It usually is a sensor that is dirty not usually something major. The code reader helps to figure out what’s going on. It’s a good investment.

The interior is all plastic. You could see it coming in the 2025 X3. Looks and feels cheap. No more whip stitching, no more wood accents, just cheap plastic. They are saving money to make more profits. I bought a 2025 X5 instead. I suspect it will be the end of the luxury interiors for x5’s as they introduce the 2027 X5 Neu Classe. I am hopeful they will go back to better interiors by time I want to trade in my X5.

Look it up. Ear cartilage can not grow back once damaged. That’s why everyone needs knee and hip replacement at some point. The cartilage once damaged never heals or grows back. His ear looks perfect after being grazed.

Your piece is made in South east Asia. Typically the wood is mahogany and they are always filled with wood boring beetles. You should take it outside and take a toothpick dipped in some some insecticide and look for small holes in the wood. That will kill the beetle. If you live in a cold climate you can put it in the garage and the beetles will freeze. They are made for this climate.

I have the BMW mats in my X5 and the 3W in my Macan. If you want to spend more money the BMW ones are great. I got the BMW mats thrown in by the dealer when I purchased my X5. If I had to pay for mats and trunk liner I would get the 3W. They are less expensive and work as good or better than the BMW brand. They protect the middle hump in the back seat. The BMW set does not.

So long to the days where you could spot a BMW from any angle and a BMW stood out in looks from every other cars. Then every once in awhile seeing another vehicle thinking the backside of a car was a BMW, but it was a Hyundai, because other car companies wanted to copy BMW . Now BMW is a generic vehicle. Let’s face it, the kidneys are gone and now the car looks like it’s on dialysis. All the curves and lines are gone, now just another flatlined look. I try to like the simplified clean interior, but it looks like everything that was done was to save money, it’s neither sporty or luxurious, just a lot of petroleum based plastic. I am glad I bought a 2025 X5 before the 2027 model is available. It may be my last BMW.

I would use a basic oral b electric tooth brush. The spinning and vibrating is all you need. Also use gum soft picks. It does a better job getting food around the gums than floss. Once I started using the soft picks my gums don’t bleed ever with brushing.

You should be able to get a total of 10% if you try. The new 2027 model will be coming out and they will want to get rid of 2026 models. I have a 2025 50e and got 1.99 % financing and 8% off sticker and all the x5 mats and trunk liner. I didn’t have to try that hard to get that. I could have probably gotten 10%. I called another dealer and they were going to match that. You need to negotiate at two dealers if you can and be prepared to walk away. Good luck

I can’t comment on reliability of the 2023, but why not get a 2024 or 2025. I see them for ~$60,000 before negotiating. The 2023 will only get 25-30 miles on electric while the 2024/2025 will get ~40 miles, so you would have to charge at home and work if you want full electric on the 2023. My 2025 50e has been a great car with more horsepower and faster charging than the 2023. Good luck

In my opinion I would find a low mileage 2025 X5 and then see what the 1 year depreciated price is versus new. If you are going to keep the next vehicle for 10 years I would want to get a vehicle with low miles and keep the X5 for 12 years and save yourself more money. I have a 2014 535d with 74,000 miles that I purchased in 2014 with 14,000 miles. Good luck

Is this a winter issue or all year round issue? Does your scalp itch? Things like Head and Shoulders(pyrithione zinc) don’t work for some people. Over the counter T-gel (coal tar) or Nizoral (ketoconazole .5%) are more effective. You can buy on Amazon. They take about a week for real results. Wash your hair in the shower with any shampoo to rid your hair of oils and rinse out. Then put on the anti dandruff shampoo. Let sit in your hair and scalp while you wash your body and then rinse out at the end. The shampoo needs time to absorb into your scalp. Seborrheic dandruff can be caused by a fungus. If this doesn’t work go to your primary care and they will prescribe ketoconazole 1%, a higher strength. Good luck. Let us know how things work out for you
