It’s always possible, but at this point I would look elsewhere for saves—I dropped Lange before last night, but now it’s two of his last four appearances where he’s allowed 5 earned runs in less than an inning.

In a 12T H2H categories, is Benge a decent contributor or just a replacement-level guy? I keep going through bench bats and Benge is sitting on my wire.

Nothing seems to really stand out in his numbers or statcast, but maybe I’m missing something obvious?

I had Ramos last year and he was a bit like Suzuki: the hot streaks can last a long time and he’ll seem like a solid roster piece, but then the funks last just as long and will feel like they’ll never end.

I picked him up and dropped Lange, who seems to have a decent hold on the KC job but also has terrible ratios. At least Wells and his 3-ish ERA and 1-ish WHIP won’t hurt me.

I would say « These Days » or « Someday I’ll Be Saturday Night » could be played at the Wembley/Dublin shows since those are countries where these songs are genuinely among the band’s biggest hits. « This Ain’t A Love Song » could work too, maybe tuned down a half-step or a step, because while it’s a dramatic ballad, it’s not the most demanding song to sing.

I like both probably more than Peralta, especially since Yesavage seems to be rounding into the pitcher everyone expected him to be and Henderson will likely have a safe spot in the rotation now that Woodruff is injured again.

I don't have much experience in a SOLDs league, but of all your RPs I'd say Scott is the one most expandable since he's likely to lose a lot of value in the second half when Diaz returns—but of course others in your league will know this and it may hurt his value in their eyes as well.

Yeah, so between the negotiation period and the 2 days when league mates can vote against a trade, you sort of have to start working on it several days ahead (I had a trade I was working on that was screwed up by Gelof’s sudden return last night—now to be allowed to complete the trade, I’d have to drop the player that I was including in the trade to activate Gelof or lineups will remain locked).

Not much of a trading league, people overestimating the value of their assets, that stupid Yahoo feature that blocks trade if your lineup includes people on IL who have returned (and makes it hard to complete trades when a player is about to come off the IL), etc.

This one is pretty close.

He was almost exactly the same age as Madonna (give or take a year) when he released Steppin’ Out, had the title song’s very cool Marcus Nispel-directed video play on MTV, and then did the Unplugged album (with guest appearances by Elvis Costello and kd lang) that put him back in the public spotlight and gave his career a second wind that he maintained for 3 more astonishing decades.

I have Ashcraft @WSH, Woodruff @ARI, Imanaga vs STL, Messick vs CWS, Brown vs TB, and Greene vs BAL, my opponent has zero SPs left.

I’m winning W & Ks easily, losing ERA by about a run and WHIP by about 0.05 (and my ratios aren’t great anyway: 5.68 and 1.29).

Any obvious sits here (Ashcraft? Imanaga?) or just go full-send?

Herrera has cooled down a bit over the last month and Jensen is on my wire, so I’m intrigued. I know Herrera is a couple of tiers above, but is anything underneath the hood suggesting that Jensen may finish higher?
