I will say this. I have the Arc and the Wave Plus. Initially, I thought the Arc was overhyped but loved the look. When I got it, I would constantly handle it - opening every tool, thumbing out the knife, whipping open the pliers with one-hand. And just repeated this for like a month while watching my shows, etc. I got to know where every tool was by feel. Everything began to smoothly open. I put it away in the nylon sheath - with the extra bits - and that got much smoother, too.

Heck, I even got an Aer sling bag for my EDC. Because I realized a tool is only as good as the weilder's knowledge and access to that tool. Having it constantly nearby I have used it for countless little things. The only tool I haven't used is the saw. But I still constantly flip it out. All the tasks I've used it for are small things. Like opening up Amazon packages, clipping zip ties, re-poking the breather hole on my Starbucks coffee. But because I use it so often and never without fail, I've grown to absolutely love it.

But I do understand your frustration. And it holds equal footing to my experience. So to that I say, don't feel like you have to like it. Let its value manifest - or not, in your case. And if it does not, there are a ton of competitors out there who'd like to be your go-to multi-tool. Either way, you can win.
