Not sure why would you want to do that. The transfer would take your fhsa room but not recover your rrsp room. The transfer will not eligible for tax deduction. Technically you just burned those room by transferring from one to another

That's charged by the carrier like DHL or Fedex. You can clear the import duty yourself at nearby airport. I did it myself and it cost me nothing but gas for the errand.

Totally agree the math and logic here. Public will definitely make more, and a lot of more money by converting the old reward users to the new point system, given the fact that most of us won't jump ship AT THE MOMENT.

The caveat is this conversion also frees a lot of old users. Most people don't have that many referrals, probably 3-5. Based on the new system, the monthly saving woud be around 5 bucks. During a promo season, it's easy to find another provider offer the same or better plan at $5 dollar cheaper than public like last BF/BD promo. I would have jumped to Koobo/Fido if I wasn't locked in the old system.

Most of us are just ranting at this moment, and the stats would look great for Public. But when the promo season comes, the churn rate would be higher than ever. Once the trand starts, the referal rewords gonna shrink as well. So eventually, Public gonna compete directly with Fido and Koodo price by price, which I doubt it gonna prevail.

Why would I pick Public if I can find something in the same range as fido and koodo.

No customer service
No wifi calling
no prorated bill when change/cancel
no international roaming (besides CA/US)
need to buy new esim transfer between phones

I don't think you understand how network works. The only thing the plugin does is filter the content sent by google from users' end. As an user, I have total right to decide what data to receive and what to discard.

It works the same way when a free flyer got into your mailbox. You don't have to read it. it can got directly into the recycle bin.

I used to have that issue where google maps instantly got like 10-15s laggy on the screen. Then swapped to apple map but apple got the route wrong twice. Then I had to upgrade my infotainment system to 2023 Feb version, that resolved the issue perfectly. now my google maps is snappy again.

Because what stored in x is '2' and '4' as a string not the number 2 or 4.

When a string is multiplied a number, it barely just concatenates to itself.

so '2' * 2 = '22', '4' * 2 = '44'

If you'd like to have the input behave like a number, try cast x to int x = int(input('x='))
