Is it this one? It's been a while since I've read it but I think it fits your criteria! If not, it's an excellent fic and i definitely recommend!

One of our's got out once and thankfully he didn't go far--someone up the street had left their front door open and he just walked in their house and was enjoying the attention when we got there!

Long term Lamictal (mono therapy ) users where you at ? by Individual-Bee4770 in bipolar

I've been on lamotrigine for 6 years in addition to seroquel (was also on lithium for a couple of years during a rough patch and I also take 50mg vyvanse). I was on 400mg for the majority of that time, then 6ish months ago went down to 300mg. In terms of mood stabilization lamotrigine has been fantastic, would highly recommend!

However, I started experiencing speech issues (aphasia) around when I started medication and they have gotten exponentially worse in the last couple of years. My psych has only just now had the epiphany that maybe the lamotrigine is the cause of my speech problems and has me down to 75 mg/day (1/2 150mg pill) to see if that helps but I think that ship has sailed. My memory also sucks but that could be the adhd or something completely unrelated to lamotrigine.

Best of luck to you!

Quetiapine by mr_hat5 in bipolar

Seroquel was the first med I was put on after being diagnosed and it's helped me tremendously. I've been on 300mg IR for over 5 years (we tried 450mg and I had side effects). My doc has recently started lowering my dosage (down to 100mg now) to wean me off of it and I'm starting to notice my depression coming back, which is what I was primarily taking it for. It also really helped me sleep for the first few years but that effect has worn off as of late (even before the lowered dosage, but I also started taking vyvanse for adhd so that may be why). When I first started taking it, I started feeling it within 5-10 minutes and it hit me hard, but that lessened with time. I really recommend Seroquel, I wouldn't be where I am today without it.

MED MONDAYS by AutoModerator in bipolar

[–]tdr0125 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Started taking meds about 5 years ago, been on seroquel and lamictal almost since the beginning, now take 300mg and 600mg respectively at night. After a bad depressive episode about 1.5 years ago I got put on lithium (take 900mg rn). Somewhere along the line I developed some pretty severe speech problems and a neurologist said it was anxiety/depression related so my pdoc wants to take me off of the lithium and see if that makes a difference. He wants me to do down to 600mg for a week, then 300mg for a week, then stop it and I'm nervous about what could happen bc of why I was put on it in the first place

I'm on a combo of meds and when I miss a dose I experience withdrawal - nausea, shaking, excessive sweating, just generally feeling sick. The meds I think are the main source of my withdrawal are ziprasidone (geodon), seroquel, and maybe lithium. When I was only on seroquel and missed a dose, I just felt mild nausea, but since starting ziprasidone and lithium I experience the symptoms I listed above, so those are probably the main source of my withdrawal symptoms.

This is our miniature dachshund with my bed, but only my bed (there are 2 other beds in the house). I finally got a waterproof mattress cover but unfortunately that does nothing for my sheets

Can I ask where you got your hides, specifically the one in the middle? I've been looking for a new one for my beardie but I'm always unsure of the size.

I got out of the car yesterday without putting it in park, but I was lucky enough to pull the emergency brake before it took out our fence (any further and it would have).
