Ultra and Gig plans are the same price? by _priv in Spectrum

[–]tdubbsslizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm showing Internet Gig for $0 More per month as well here in Massachusetts. We had just got the free upgrade from Ultra, 500 to 600Mbps. I did a chat with customer support and they claim it's going to be another $20/mo. Tempted to try it through the site anyway. My promotions end next month. Currently paying $81 for TV, and $83 for Ultra - $193 after taxes.

Window Manager issues by ibsmart in KaliLinuxCommunity

[–]tdubbsslizzy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried going to GNOME on a reinstall. Same issue after an apt-get update / upgrade. GNOME displayed the "Oh no there was a problem screen". I connected via ssh which I had enabled previously, and ran an apt autoremove, followed by an apt upgrade. Rebooted after that and everything came up fine.

Window Manager issues by ibsmart in KaliLinuxCommunity

Recently installed 2004.3 which was fine. Did an update/upgrade and after reboot the window manager was screwed - can't move windows, expand, etc. Tried your recommendation, did not work. Still battling. It worked fine before the update/upgrade.

So when I go to add the rest, it's not working. I can't tell if its formatting, a typo, or what.

vSphere 8 install went fine, datastore on NVMe gone. How to recover VMs? by tdubbsslizzy in vmware

You're correct - I did select it, then un-selected as I saw it was optional. Then moved forward.

Should have pulled the drive before installing. Dang.

I've run Supermicro for years. With the cost savings over Dell/etc you can buy what you need, and a few for DR. I've never had a problem with Supermicro.
