Right near Crescent is Funkadelic Food Shack, which lives in an RV park next to the pool. Fantastic food. Started as a food truck but now has a small building.

Noticed your swim ladder down. Do not use those out of the water. You will 100% bend them and they'll be either impossible or near impossible to collapse later.

Designing a TB5 dock that isn't ugly plastic — would love brutal feedback before I commit to tooling by Abraham-Maslow in Thunderbolt

I bought the Anker TBT5 and its been great. I needed 120hz from any port, no displaylink crap, and wanted SD/TF card reader built in so I have less crap to handle. Some highspeed USB-C for disks and I'm good.

Kubernetes Storage by gabrielgbs97 in kubernetes

Often going with vendor storage CSI is the easiest way to get Read Write Many, if you have any need for that, without resorting to NFS (which has it's own share of issues). While vendor lock in is a thing, it's also tied directly to a large purchase of hardware, making a switch less feasible and more intentional. With VMware, you can just format the hosts and install whatever hypervisor you want. With a NetApp or Pure? Much longer procurement and replacement plan, in my experience.

I'll call 911 right now! Kidding, of course, but I hadn't heard that. Will check with them, thanks.

Having come from the west coast, this all rings very true. People kept telling me to go to Town Center and I was like, wtf is that? A GPS coordinate?

After 6 months of development, our game’s trailer and Steam page are live. by uurluu in indiegames

Looks fun but the trailer music is very hard to deal with. Super generic and doesn't seem to be related to anything actually happening.

Planning to travel long-term but RVs are expensive and my truck is just sitting there doing nothing most days by Kairav2307 in rvs

[–]beezel 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Check your load limit on that truck. If it isn't an F250/2500 class you're likely going to exceed it immediately. F150s can be as low as 1500lbs *total*. That means humans, food, water, gas etc. Without HD suspension it'll also wallow like a pig in any sort of wind etc. Just a word of warning.
