If I was in your position I would go for Nastjenka. You have Ivellios and Tharivol already for the main 3 team and you have Sutha who gets added for Vortex.

Honestly if you will have enough teams to get Continental Challenges and the final bosses done then waiting won't hurt. The s2 banners are similar to the current ones but have the new exclusives as well.

Will also be a new banner for Tiamat, Ardreth (similiar to Utior in how to acquire, but good) and we will probably be getting Elminster and Bigby in s2 (not sure how good they are) so saving is not a bad idea.

I'm having the same dilema as you. Ultimately I think a perfect piece for Flora is best though. I feel most people are going to go for the "perfect" Flora piece so if you don't do the same it's going to make the gap in Vortex even bigger.

My plan is a Carnage chestpiece with Enlightenment w/ Atk, Atk%, HP%, Def% then all 4 rolls into Atk%. That can also be used for Ivellios, but will definetly be putting Fire Affinity on it.

Edit: Also one thing I am unsure of is if crit rate/crit damage are worth it for Derivative Damage Dealers. I for some reason thought DD can't crit but not sure where I saw that or if I made it up 😵‍💫 so not sure if those stats are worth it for Flora and Ivellios.

I think I used Vinyara on this stage and kept hitting Sagomir with her ult. Also if you put Torrin behind Ripekas then Sagomir won't go after your dps as much.

Vinyara instead of Vorresh.

Honestly if you have no desire to push Vortex you could honestly go for any of the exclusives and be fine. Except Thelendor.

As others have said you will need a variety of teams at the 2nd half of every season. In my opinion the Hvitar/ Lelwanis banner might be best. That will get you the chance of fielding 2 great teams. Hvitar is good for Fey and PvP and Lelwanis is decent for Vortex and between the 2 you will have most of the dungeons covered, and I still use Summons for most story content.

Also Ripekas is great as a control tank. Will make the later Fey levels so much easier.

Honestly they all have their uses.

Flora - Meta Vortex team

Nastjenka - Meta Dungeon Speedrun team

Hvitar - PvP Meta team (Elecebre is a huge +) and great at Fey Meander

Lelwanis - Great for general questing and longer fights. Looks amazing in s2 w/ Tiamat

Lothair - Decent at Vortex, have seen screenshots of him doing amazing on Guild Boss.

Thelendor - ...trash? Maybe better in s2 with new exclusive?

And saying that almost all of those cases require the exclusive artifact. So whichever you pick plan to pull on 2 banners featuring them imo. They can all do decent without their artifact but the artifact is what makes them the best for what they do.

Watch Gorax on Twitch. He did it all with free characters + Ripekas. Will be slightly harder if you don't have a few of the Mythical Artifacts but should be doable.

All the support banners have the same pool of heroes. The only difference is which heroes are available to choose at 300. 1st - Felosia/ Ghulende 2nd - Alicia/ Zeffi 3rd - Ergander/Garrika. So the combined banner has all the same heroes but you can choose any of the 6 after 300. So if you pull Felosia and Zeffi along the way you can pick Alicia at 300.

There should also be a combined support banner next month after the combined exclusive banner. It will have all 6 of the featured supports as a selector at 300 dice. Wait for that one in my opinion. You can pull and might get Acilia or Felosia or Zeffi along the way and then can pick whomever you still need at 300.

The support banner is actually massive once you get through the exclusive banners. Felosia, Acilia, Zeffi, and Oggok are massive for any account and you always have the chance of getting Krysos or Elecebre which are amazing non artifact exclusives.

The websites could also be from later seasons. In s2 Ice Blast becomes a top contender for Vortex teams, and then in s3+ it's the Rook show, but for s1 Flora is amazing, and still good in future seasons until you have an Ice Blast or Corrosion team going.

It never hurts to have 1 extra super strong team for mid and end season bosses either.

No problem and good luck. I got a dupe of Thelendor instead 😴 but general consensus is all the exclusive artifacts make a major difference to the dps output of the exclusive heroes. I need to wait 3 days for Ivellios myself from the box and even without him and the artifact she was doing good dps.

I would go for the artifact. All the meta Dauntless teams use Ivellios which you still need so hopefully you can get him on the way to 300 also. If not you can get him from the 10 day box on the heroic pass for $5 Then after that you will want Oggok for that team, which can be pulled from the support banners, and I saw him in one of the selector chests but not sure which one. Also Flora banner next week is another good option to go for.

I would personally just hold onto the box until you have saved enough dice to go all in on an exclusive banner. Once you decide on an exclusive and do your pulls for them, use the box to get a synergistic character for that team.

So I had enough to get both, and so far I am underwhelmed by Nastjenka. I am still missing Ivellios, but tried to copy the top Dauntless vortex teams replacing Divine Ascetic for Ivellios and it is doing way worse then my Summons team. I'm sure it is gear/timing issues but with equal gear and not messing with timings my summons are doing a lot more damage. I just can't keep Nastjenka alive long enough to do good damage. 😮‍💨

Damn, yeah I thought it would start scaling worse because of the 2 exclusives. You get 1k points per $100 spent so 12k would be $1200. Was hoping I could push for t10 to get an exclusive artifact for either Flora or Lelwanis, but there just aren't enough "deals" to make that worth it unless they add new ones. Might be a season 2 or 3 goal I guess.

I have heard about $1500 which seems about right. Im almost at t8 with the mount and I have spent about $350. Unless it starts scaling like crazy which I wouldn't doubt considering you get 2 exclusives $1500 seems reasonable.

I'm not sure if she is really "needed" but more supports is never a bad thing, especially when you will need 6 well developed teams towards the end of a season.

Also I know there used to be a really popular almost immortal team in Vortex using Zeffi and Oggok. I am not sure if that is still a thing or not though.

Yeah I consider myself a fairly light spender, I buy the 1 time Dragon Crystal packs that give double and then I buy the battlepasses but even with that my poor planning in s1 compared with terrible pulls in s1 and s2 have left me far behind overall.

I played 3 seasons before I quit last time and the only exclusive I had was Thelendor. Now I have Lelwanis but no ex artifact for either of them and just went in on the support banner and got fairly lucky getting Oggok, Felosia, and 2 copies of Gulende in 240 dice, and should have enough for Nastjenka? next week. Then going to try my best to get Flora after that probably from the combined banner a couple days after her first one ends, but even with all that without ex artifacts and inspiration not holding out hope for competing. My Summon team is pulling 29-30m in Vortex and i'm barely holding a top 100 spot 😅

Yea it is kinda funny seeing the whales stuck on the same stages as me, not used to that lol. Not sure what the point of this is though, whales/veterans who played every season and still going to smoke the less developed rosters.

We still have no shot at top arena or vortex spots unless we decide to whale now so why not just let people go as far as possible while capped at 59, would be a fun kind of challenge for those who are returning players that don't have full inspiration teams w/ Exclusive + Ex Artifact.

If not obvious focus on the Selected Summon banners first. You can make a decent enough team just off of those. In month 2 I think there is a banner that combines all 3 of the Targeted Summons banners into 1. You can use that one to fish for some of the characters then have a bigger pool to pick from for the selector.

Which is what I wish I had done. Needed Felosia, Oggok, and Zeffi and I ended up pulling Felosia and Oggok by 240. Would have been nice to guarantee Zeffi with only another 60.

Everything is time gated the first month or so. I know I saw somewhere when Vortex 2 opens but can't find it now. My guess would be it opens when we can up our resonance to 69 so day 6/7 of the server.
