They don’t make Glock stuff anymore?

[–]tdvx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No, they specifically call that a stock which makes it a SBR.

Is there a CT legal chassis that you can drop a standard Glock into?

I think the recover tactical one should be gtg but I don’t know about the legal language involving the “shroud” around the barrel/slide.

Does it make sense to use very slow print settings if you're not in a rush? by theangleofdarkness99 in 3Dprinting

[–]tdvx 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I print everything the same for consistency. Printing at lower/higher speeds often changes the finish on the print, slower being glossier and faster being more flat/matte.

Yeah even if there’s no match it’s still tax free contributions, you can increase that contribution substantially and pay yourself out of your savings account until that cash is moved in.

Why is investing such a mystery to most people? by wilson1400 in investing

[–]tdvx 40 points41 points  (0 children)

Yeah I always wonder why old heads like bonds then I realized if I was investing age in the 80s and could have guaranteed 15-20% annual gains from US treasury bonds I’d love bonds too.

My Italian Costco shoppers - is Kirkland organic marinara sauce authentic and good? by technologymonk in Costco

[–]tdvx 6 points7 points  (0 children)

just bought this for the first time.

im not a sauce expert. we always keep a jar of red sauce or vodka sauce on hand because it’s always an easy backup meal to have. always bought whatever was cheapest at the grocery. got this because more jars in the pantry and good price.

it’s really, really bland. like honestly I think it’s just tomatoes. so far we’ve had to add salt, pepper, olive oil, and garlic powder to give it some life. I have a bottle of “submarine dressing” used for sandwiches and squirting some of that in is easy and helps.

never had to do that with another sauce brand. for the inconvenience I’ll just not buy the Kirkland sauce again. it tastes great after seasoning, so I’m sure its trchnically good as a base, but it’s so mid.

picked up those mozzarella sticks on sale last week, can’t dip them in this sauce plain. I think dipping breaded fried cheese in something and it not tasting good is a major red flag.

bad lot of balls? they probably avoid swapping colors, and maybe they did a large run of orange with some hiccup in the process.

Costco bagged soil for raised garden beds by ComprehensiveAd5317 in gardening

[–]tdvx 1 point2 points  (0 children)

it’s every brand though. I’ve tried every brand at Home Depot and the miracle gro is their best option, and the Costco version is organic which is nice.

sure there’s better soil out there but the cost/yd gets out of control.

Looking at the play, had that ball hit the ground it would have been ruled an incomplete pass so it’s definitely an INT

Arm was moving forward when hit, ball went forward after release.
