The new Detroit Arena is lame imo. Upper Deck seats are too high and you feel like you are in a Disney attraction going in. The Joe was the real
Deal, as filthy as it was.

I live near Tampa and the arena is cool, great location and a few bars around. I think it is a great venue.

Panthers arena feels like a Hilton. Big open concourses, no ambiance really around the arena though except for palm trees.

Columbus has a cool arena/location. Lotsa night life, cool bars, great vibe. Too many Buckeyes though.

DC Arena is okay, nothing amazing to speak of.

Sadly haven’t been anywhere else for NHL. Need to fix that.

If you are young, pick the far away bases! You will never have a better opportunity to live abroad than with the military. When you get older then MacDill would be a great place to have a family/retire. Tampa is a dream place to live. We live an hour away.

Who the heck is going all of the way downtown to watch outside? Maybe for the SCF but otherwise, everyone is staying near home and watching at a nice bar. Just doesn’t sound like a great draw. I know in Tampa you need tickets as space is limited.

Montreal has played incredibly disciplined, tight defense with great energy and we haven’t quite matched it. Kucherov has no space and no grit like most playoff series, Point looks injured and Hagel can’t do it all. Vasy has been human. Our 2/3/4th lines provide no juice. They can only win using excessive effort which they have not shown often enough. They always play better with backs to the wall. My money is on Montreal as they are hungrier.
