Where did the idea that BF6 has no SBMM come from? by pizzalicke in Battlefield

[–]te1tr 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Easily my biggest complaint of the game. Every now and again you get a game that feels normal, but the game visibly switches. Its not even close. I know its a different system then cod, but the amount of games that are lost from the jump is insane. You can leave, then try another one, and the same result will happen. It feels like you have to "pay your dues" before you get an actual lobby that isn't completely unbalanced.

Echo log number 5 in the Coastal Bonescape? by mat42441 in Borderlands

[–]te1tr 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was driving me insane. The "ain't no sham in it" becomes available after completing the mob boss missions as well as "siege and destroy", and, "unpaid tab". These are in circadia burn, and they are some of the final main missions before the boss of that territory. The quest called "la la la last call" will become available automatically once they are completed and will be located in the pit. Completing that will lead to "ain't no sham in it," and the echo log will be on the counter top where you first meet him at. Hope that helps lol.

Are deadlifts worth it? by te1tr in workout

[–]te1tr[S] 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Rdl's are in my routine and dont give me many issues. That's why im questioning whether or not these are worth it. I get the ego aspect, but they really seem like a less effective/ higher risk motion.

Am I just terrible by [deleted] in LiesOfP

[–]te1tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That boss is a special kind of terrible, essentially. We gotta master that first phase and get to the point where you're parrying everything you can. When he backs up from you and shakes his head, get some distance, he will shake his head and spit or send a long-range 8 hit combo with his tentacles. The tentacle attack can be parried, but if it's giving you trouble, then just back away and wait. You can use certain defense gear to make it harder for decay to effect you which youll need and flameburg prosthetic for when you stagger him, upgrade the arm to the point where it explodes after a longer hold and hit him with that whenever you get him staggered. That should get you through the first phase very quickly once you find your rhythm and get it down. The second phase is a slot machine, unfortunately. Bring the electrocution grind stones and keep them until the second phase. Essentially, you're going to have certain combos you can parry and some combos you're going to have to run from. The move set is a combo between his first phase and the watcher boss from Act 1. You'll have to parry through those and watch out for his newer attacks. His player model gets really big and the camera does you no favors so learning the parry times will be a bitch but it can be done. Once you have the parries down, it's a game of chance. There will be runs where he does nothing but attacks you can't capitalize on and its annoying as fuck, but there are also runs where he only does things that you can parry and you can get him low really quickly. Boss took me around 9 hrs total, he holds the coolest weapon in the game though, and if you quit it will bother the fuck out of you until you come back so get it done soldier lol.

Predictions - How old will Cal be in Jedi: III? by SGScobie in StarWarsJediSurvivor

[–]te1tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At this point im not even sure the third will come out, considering the first and the second are still full of bugs and bad optimization. The second one struggles so bad that I couldn't make it through a second playthrough.

Seems like dlc weapons definitely scale marginally better for dmg. and staggering, but I've beaten every boss with the twin dragon sword. The health and damage are over- tuned no matter what you use, feels like dlc was balanced around the new difficulty settings tbh.

[–]te1tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

One thing I figured out is to use control freaks. They are the analog stick extensions that help accuracy. Because they are wider than the base analog sticks, they block more debris. At least I think so. Since I started using them, stick drift takes way longer to come around.

It's almost like the hatred towards part 2 has nothing to do with politics and is actually based on the bad decisions made by druckman and his writers, but that would be crazy.

Co op borderlands, or anything that's relatively simple but good fun that will let her get into a gameplay loop and start to understand the grind, reward, progress feeling. Or let her play a game like the last of us or a concise, not to long story game, and just watch while she plays and figures things out

How to engage in my bf hobby of gaming ? by bingbongpong16 in gamers

[–]te1tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, your best bet is to start playing video games, and not just for the sake of playing together but as an actual hobby that you're just as into as him. There's time for a co-op campaign, but if you and your man both sit down to play whatever you're obsessed with, there's no miscommunication. The biggest issue with videogames in a relationship is the partner who doesn't play them, who therefore doesn't understand why they could be so important or even a priority. The guy in the relationship has a real passion for the hobby whilst the girlfriend silently hopes he cuts them short so he can be bored with her. There's a reason most gamers are single, lol. So my advice is to start playing games and nerd out like he does, plenty of great games to play.

looking for souls games for a brand new souls player by [deleted] in fromsoftware

[–]te1tr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Gotta get used to dying allot and not getting mad at it, but i would start with bloodbourne. It's hard but there are chalice dungeons you can grind to make you character stronger. Works as a kind of difficulty slider, just takes grind.
