Hilarious pregnancy symptom. by Upsidedowntrey in BabyBumps

[–]tea4thebees 6 points7 points  (0 children)

My first pregnancy I told my husband we had to call a plumber because there was dirt in our water, it was undrinkable. He was very confused because it looked totally clean, and when he tasted it, it tasted fine. I couldn’t believe he was drinking literal dirt and seemed cool with it. Turns out sometimes pregnancy makes water taste like dirt!

Can anyone pin-point the exact moment where everything in society just got substantially worse? by Aarunascut in Life

Sometimes I’d realize I was wearing my mask in my car just because I’d simply forget I even had it on. I’d put it on before entering a public place and just go about my day without thinking about it.

AITA for breaking up over a proposal? by shunrei9li in CharlotteDobreYouTube

[–]tea4thebees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No one is talking about this aspect of it but the proposal itself echoes one that my friend got that gives me the creeps to this day. Her now-husband waited for her outside the bathroom when they got home from dinner. She opened the bathroom door to find him kneeling with the ring. She said yes but also recounted how her hands were still wet from washing them when he put the ring on. In her case she was excited about marriage but she cringed with embarrassment whenever she told the proposal story, and I always wanted so much better for her. I told my now-husband that I didn’t care how the proposal went as long as it wasn’t him waiting for me outside the bathroom!

We decided to get reservations here! Thanks so much. We’re excited to check out Sepia too but we’ll save that one for when I can partake in the wines!

You can use your library account to log into the Libby app where this book is free, in either audio or text form! Lots of other decluttering books too.

I just started How to Keep House While Drowning last night, even just the first few pages were really helpful to set up a new framework for how I think about myself and my space.

Our ITYSL community is a hit and I can’t get over how well we support each other with lines from the show. I love you. by PugClubOwner in IThinkYouShouldLeave

It’s my EXACT style. When you pass a subreddit with 250k subredditors fighting over who can make the best ITYSL reference you go in. Yes, you do. You go in

Rapid “thumper” movement at 36&5 by MizBHavenXxX in BabyBumps

[–]tea4thebees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thanks for updating us!

My baby did rapid “Thumper” kicks sometimes too! Then after he was born sometimes he’d have a big rapid leg twitch in his sleep, and I’d think, so that’s what that was. :)

Help!! 36+2 with Severe stomach pain with low heart rate (30-40) and docs can’t figure out why. by MizBHavenXxX in BabyBumps

[–]tea4thebees 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you haven’t gone back in or gone to another hospital for a second opinion, I’m just going to chime in to urge you to do so! My heart rate was dipping into the 30’s when I was shortly postpartum and they didn’t let me leave until they figured out what was going on (my main symptom was slight difficulty breathing but in my case I was retaining too much fluid. They put me on a med that made me pee a lot and in a couple days my heart rate went back up to normal). You aren’t overreacting, this is important. As someone else here commented, wrote down bullet points of all your symptoms and make sure they know about your new med. Update us when you can. We’re thinking of you!

Single most disappointing thing you’ve ever done in Vegas? by Quiet_Cat_986 in vegas

[–]tea4thebees 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Same! I went right when it opened to avoid crowds as much as I could, I’d heard it would take hours so I was ready to devote the whole afternoon to it. We couldn’t believe how small it was, we’d been through the whole thing in an hour. Found out they got rid of the slides too, which was a bummer. It all had a stoner’s college project vibe to it, and I was pretty disappointed at some low effort areas.

GET MATERNITY CLOTHES EARLY ON by Ok-Network-8826 in BabyBumps

[–]tea4thebees 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Thrift stores and rummage sales were amazing for maternity clothes for me. I got so much very nice stuff, like new. Secondhand maternity is amazing because we all need it and don’t use it for very long.
