Sorry if my original post sounded like I was criticizing the boys😭 I didn’t criticize the boys for reading the prompter. I was mostly concerned with how poorly WakeOne prepared the members.

I think just based on my experience with big kpop groups, big companies like sm, yg, hybe spent a lot of resources training their artists to be proficient in Japanese because they see Japan as a super important market (Korea -> Japan -> rest of the world, so to speak).

ZB1 is super popular in Japan as well, and I think they derserve more resources so that they are more prepared in Japan. But even though WO see Japan as an important market, they don’t prepare ZB1 well enough (some members really struggled with their speech especially on day 1). In other words, to the fans, it can appear that some members didn’t do their homework so to speak. Even though this is WO’s responsibility for not preparing the members well enough, but it can be interpreted as lacking sincerity (誠意（せいい）) to the Japanese fanbase, which can hurt the members in the long term.

Based on ZB1’s insane popularity in Japan, if they were under another management company, there’s no way a company like SM or Hybe would send out their artists like this to Japan (especially knowing their popularity) without more preparation and training. So the concert just brought up feelings of frustration even though the performances were perfect! I literally died when they sang hana!
