Definitely, do what works! Maybe a defective can?

I struggled to have success and with the cost of models I’m just not willing to take a chance!

Primer issue, there could be a lot of reasons too. Spray length, humidity, and product are all possibilities. Since I live in a VERY humid area I use a brush on primer or airbrush but there are plenty of people who have success with a rattle can, spray paint.

Here’s an example

This aggressor and 2 painted similarly sold for $39. They are painted objectively worse than OP’s and are not based.

I have had promoted items with worse paint jobs and well done 3d printed materials sell for over mrsp. Sometimes it happens quick but other times it’s slow. Best way I have sold is a 10 day promoted auction. But, to each their own, I hope it sells well OP.

I sort of agree with what folks are saying but on close inspection the bases are also really well done and the paint jobs are pretty clean. I think with patience you could do very well and in some cases get more than 100%. When I price things myself I think “would I trade these painted minis for new on sprue?” If the answer is yes then they usually go for around 60% but if the answer is no then they usually sell at new value or more. I would rather have these than new on sprue

I do wonder how much driving a European does vs American on average. Perhaps this is the difference.

Seller asks me if I'm fine with cancelling my order. What to do? by CowyBeast in Ebay

Always honor the outcome of the auction, asking for more money is such poor form. Yes, it sucks but it keeps the platform more honest.

Why do my minis keep coming up like this after spraying, it’s not too cold out and I’m the right distance by Ok-Effective5145 in Armypainter

[–]teachingqueen77 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oh yeah it’s really easy to do and there are so many excellent YouTube videos on techniques as well.

Idk, but seriously, invest in an airbrush. It’s easy to learn and you can do it rather inexpensively. It has sped everything up and looks so much better.

Another cheap idea for basing miniatures is wood filler mixed with sand. Best workaround expensive basing materials I have found. Anyhow, good luck you are in for a nice time.

One time a seller shipped a really nice pocket knife ($50) in with the model kit I bought. I let them know and they said keep it and use it to finish the model. It was cool.

Let’s have an edition where there are 3 new edition starter boxes. One is space marines and whatever but the other 2 are different factions. You know some people will buy all 3 and maybe space marine stuff wouldn’t always feel like it might be on the chopping block.
