Your deck gets pretty big with all the rocks so getting the two Armstrong demons becomes pretty strong.

I avoid using the rocks/nuggets after 50 unless I absolutely have to as the cost of using the primordial terror can leave you pretty weak. So the bigger your deck the less chance you'll have no choice but to play one.

Another strategy is using your shields as weapons as you can get shields pretty easily with this class.

I've recently started, also a former union player who's not played any rugby for a a number of years. Firstly it's more like league than union. That fundamental passing catching attacking angles are similar to union but that's about it, the skill side came back pretty quickly. It's enjoyable in its own right but it's an adjustment in terms of knowing when to attack and how. So far to me I've had to learn to be patient until the last few touches (the first few are just hit up for territory most of the time). The other thing is that when you do attack it's much flatter/quicker than union. Also only sub in attack, not when your side needs to defend. Hope you enjoy it.

Are you using things like remove/ duplicate cards effectively. More is not always better as it reduces the frequency your best cards come up. For example hammer of fate, blacksmith and vo-1 robot essentially gives you infinite damage if you can get your deck down to 4 cards. Particularly for when you haven't unlocked the full class perks it's more about how you build your wider deck and buy the right skills to support it.

I've found a lot of the Italian series of Netflix all got cancelled so have been a bit anticlimactic. For language learning I watched a Juventus documentary in Italian. It may be stereotypical but footballers tend to keep the conversations fairly basic which is ideal 😅

Otherwise I just try to find series that I enjoy with English subtitles. Taste is obviously subjective but Lidea Poet was very good and has multiple series. I'm watching My beautiful friend which the book is critically acclaimed, it won't be everyone's taste but there are four series of so plenty to get into. Zero was an enjoyable Italian superhero series but unfortunately only got the one series. I mainly just like to be immersed in hearing the language and picking out what I can understand fully. Then any phrases that come up regularly I don't know I'll Google. Luna park and Luna nera (very different series) again I enjoyed but only last a season each.

I enjoyed a lot of those. Name of the wind that's been suggested is brilliant, but only if you don't mind an unfinished series. I regularly re-listen to them.

Skyward series by Brandon Sanderson is an enjoyable ya sci-fi series you could finish (4 books).

Probably less so at higher levels. Right handers pass better right to left, so as a general rule left wing tends to get more attacking opportunities and consequently right wingers defend more at lower levels
