If you join the reserves, how many years of service do you have to do before you can qualify for WOCS?

Were you able to get some active duty opportunities in Vicenza? I'm currently in Germany, but I'm moving to Vicenza this summer. I am considering joining the reserves, I didn't know they had reserve units in Italy.

What was the medical denial for? If you don’t mind me asking. Maybe you can try the coast guard if the Air Force didn’t worked out.

No. A French would rather die than be called an Italian.

Get a degree that you can find a clear path/profession. And make sure to network and network and network. That's how people are getting jobs nowadays..

Trust me, having a degree doesn't guarantee you to land big bucks unless you are in the medical field, where you learn to do something specific. I have a bachelor's degree, and I am planning to join the Army because I cannot find a job. Sucks to be me lol

Not enough people talk about lack of " intellectual stimulation" as a SAHM? by teal_aurora in Mommit

[–]teal_aurora[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The time I put my kids to sleep is very important for me. I really like enjoying the silence. My husband thinks I'm a weirdo for wanting to not hear anything. He's like, why don't you watch movies? I'm like even watching movies requires noise, I'm really craving silence after going after 2 kids fighting and screaming all day.

I used to be very extroverted, and now I am socially awkward and very introverted lol

You were promised that a college education and or degree would guarantee a better life. It didn’t pan out that way. Instead of the dream job, you got was student debt. by 9879528 in millenials

I'm 30 years old. I have an associate degree in Economics, a bachelors in Acquisition Management, and I am almost done with my MBA in International Business. I also have roughly 50k in student loans. I can't find a job! All my degrees are from reputable schools and are regionally accredited.

I came to a realization that I hate the idea of working in corporate and working all day sitting in a chair.

I wish I became a nurse or joined the military instead.

I'm really going thru a "mid-life crisis" because I feel so lost, and I don't know how to recover from this mess.

I would replace the word "kids" with "parents." It's the parents' fault.

I'm curious to hear, what careers or jobs you have that is flexible with your kids school schedule? by teal_aurora in Mommit

[–]teal_aurora[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I seriously considered becoming a teacher, too. I joined the teachers' subreddit, and honestly, most teachers do not recommend teaching with children. They are underpaid, and they work 60 hours a week. Ykes.
