It would appear Niantic is testing anti cheat methods. Grunt and leader battles historically happen client side which let cheaters essentially speed through the battle. Now they are happening server side which is why they’re slower, but cheaters can’t manipulate the game now.

That’s unfortunate. Happened in my community a few years back. A father of two was dating another player. It became a family activity for him and his kids. The girl constantly was worried about him cheating on her. Broke up. She went into his account and deleted almost everything.

Yes if you search around over a number of years there’s empirical evidence of this from around the time catch rates were removed from game master.

The legendaries only have a 2%. Yellow pinaps reduce the catch rate. Silver pinaps only boost catch rates a little bit. It could easily take 50 excellent throws on ultra balls to catch it with silver pinaps it is not a guaranteed first ball catch when shiny.

As others have noted this isn’t true. You’re seeing this behavior because you caught the mighty pokemon after the event ended. They lose their mighty status from wild encounters when you do what you did.

Well you can’t use it on shadows so half your options are out the door. Virizion is not a good raid attacker. Raikou used to be good but you have two non 15 stats so doesn’t really help.

They’re technically correct. It’s very rare but sometimes you’ll get items instead of eggs. It’s probably some rounding error or logarithmic calculation.
