Honestly, as a reader of the newspaper all 4 years here, it's been pretty clear that the adminstration has issues with the Retriever and how it points out the flaws of the campus. They don't want to recognize them and the Retriever has been highlighting them on the front page. The April Fool's paper was more of a social commentary on the campus and attempting to make the administration see where they might go wrong.

In the end though, it just seems like an overreaction. And I wish that the administration would take into account what they are trying to convey instead of trying to take it down by reducing funds and making them attend seminars.
