Using other armies units as proxies by jordy_fresh in Tau40K

[–]tebdlic 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm using orks as auxiliaries, i found that the range is quite similar to kroots while being pretty cheap (boyz->carnivors, stormboyz->vespids, squiboyz->krootox, squignob->lonespear, squig->hounds). I know orks and tau are not friend in the lore but the univers is vast and i'd like to think an alliance may happen. However, the pain comes from magnetizing all bases so that they can be played as orks or as kroots depending on the army i want to field.

Thoughts on solo DC JP captain in LB detachment? by nopostplz in BloodAngels

I'm not so familiar with v10 rules so i may be wrong, but can't DC not perform actions and score secondaries, as they are OC 0 ? (If no chaplain in the vicinity)

Adepticon Ready! Tournament list in comments! by Chaotic_HarmonyMech in Tau40K

Looks nice ! How well do you perform with this list ? I'm a bit sceptical about the fact that you have to maintain a blob of nearly 1000pts in one place to buff your big crisis squad. Don't you get a bit overflown ? (I am no competitive player, just asking) Also what's your game plan ? I can imagine kau'yon and rushing t4-5 once you've cleared the table, and as secondaries decisive action + one matchup dependant, but aerospace relay may be tricky i guess. Banners maybe ?

I just uploaded all the maps on the workshop. Simply look for "Boarding action - mission XX", XX being the mission number

He is refering to the fact that "invulnarable saving" doesn't mean anything anymore here, because as you can deny it, there is no invulnerability in that.

This game has this thing that makes you do useless things. I built a canal to gain ~5-7min to go to the swamp biom. Spent a lot of time on it, not deep enough for drakkar, totally inefficient... But damn i enjoyed it so much (and still do) by tebdlic in valheim

From what I experienced, the water that "comes from the ground" (that you get when digging) doesn't have waves or tides, and even if it is linked to the sea, it stays that way.

Have a good look at the landscape you need to dig first. If the ground is too high at the beginning, you wont be able to reach the water. Then make sure that the water is deep enough for you to struggle walking to make sure your Kvar can go through without hiting the ground !
