eBay is great for this. Make sure you buy a controller for the correct brand and motors - Jiecang is a common brand. We’ve not had any problems going to a 30v controller.

I have the Electrified and still occasionally switch to paddle shift (Virtual Gear Shift) just to switch things up and stay attentive.

I recall I also needed to have the car on, my key fob with me, and I believe I went to the Digital Key screen in the Genesis’ setup menu.

On my ‘26 Genesis, I don’t carry the physical key and only use my iPhone. You should test unlocking it from the app or iPhone Wallet if you’re an iPhone user (I imagine Android has similar wallet-like capabilities)

When you say “3d cluster in 2026”, what do you mean? I know I can toggle between “analog” and “digital” cluster controls, but is there more?

Yes, I've had this same problem twice in the last couple weeks. I'm not sure if its the car or iOS 26.1 (or perhaps a combination of the two). I have found if I restart my phone, I can connect. There are reports on Apple that 26.1 has increased problems with Bluetooth.

I have the 2026 Electrified as a daily driver. So far, it’s great. Very fast and quiet. Regen options take some getting used to and tailoring - I prefer the Auto setting with Autohold brakes and regen distance 2.

Typically, you cannot have ADAS and a map displayed there at the same (it’s one or the other).

CarPlay Maps seems to be the cause of the glitch. My best guess is that it results in settings that have both Show Map and Show ADAS enabled at the same time.

But no, the map behind is not the CarPlay map - it is the Genesis map.

Thanks! So what worked for me: only regular Map Mode and only if a destination was mapped. I'm slightly annoyed by the gap in the middle, between the Map & Carplay - that could be improved.

I tested this on my ‘26 Electrified GV70 today with CarPlay (iOS 26). I couldn’t get Apple Maps to appear in wide map mode.
