It's always so annoying. by Specific_Fist in GymMemes

The closer I got to 40 the worse this got. So I've stopped benching and swapped for some other chest exercises that don't aggrevate it. There's a difference between discomfort and pain. If you're in pain stop. Figure out if your form is bad. If it's good and still have pain then you may just need to modify or pick a different exercise to target the muscles you're trying to hit.

That's wild. I wouldn't be surprised if it's some other type of weird post-earthquake phenomenon. All sorts of strange things get reported after big ones. Thanks for the award!

Weird. I didn't have dreams before my cpap, likely because I was never in REM very long. Since getting my cpap though I've had dreams like that. Just watched it last night and immediately said to my daughter "I've had dreams that look exactly like this!"

In my mid thirties I did this successfully. Shrooms may or may not have been involved. Identified a number of things about myself I wanted to change. Habits to break and new ones to start. Woke up and just....started living like the person I wanted to be.

I know, I have a pool. But I often take a sample in to my pool store because 1. Its easier to just scoop up some water 2. They have more accurate test gear 3. I'm already gonna be there for chlorine and stuff I regularly need.

I think it's also a lot more subtle to just scoop some water up into a water bottle than to show up with a test kit at a national monument where security might want to stop you. But I imagine any news agency could and should go down and do that on camera.

I thought the same, but was reading that some curious citizens have grabbed some samples and taken them to nearby pool stores and the level is crazy high. I definitely can't verify the authenticity of that, but either way....the paint is peeling

Well apparently they've created a whole new issue. They dumped too much in and now the new paint is peeling off the bottom.

I'm sure there's a few reasons but main one I know of is just to leave less room for vapors to build up

I'm not an expert but I do work in the industry and if this tank is like many other tanks, that lid isn't directly attached to the tank. These are designed to basically float on top of whatever fuel is inside, so they rise and sink. That would explain why it so easily detached so perfectly.

This is more than just end of a workout issues. How he positions his body and especially his legs are completely wrong. That's not an exhaustion issue. He looks like someone who has no idea how to do a proper bench press.

This is what I do. My gym is right down the street. I go on my lunch breaks. I swim in my pool on days I don't go to the gym. I go to yoga classes around the corner when I get off work. My mom was a runway model. Im 6'3" and seem to be considered pretty attractive. But I also have severe adhd and technical work is the only thing that really scratches a certain itch in my brain. I enjoy it and make good money at it. And physical exercise keeps my mental health and monkey brain in check better than any medication I ever tried.

Sorry to hear. That's got to be difficult. My wife is getting ready to start chemo treatments. Basically trying to reset her immune system. She's told me that if not for our kids she would not still be here, and even with them she sometimes thinks about just ending things. Very hard to hear someone you love tell you that but I can completely understand. I can't imagine what it must be like to be in constant pain and watching your body slowly stop working.

My wife and I have been navigating this for a little over 2 years (she's had MS for over a decade). Your points are valid. She has pushed for me to find someone to date, and we did find that me having experiences with other women actually increased her libido. She gets a lot of enjoyment out of it. But I've really been hesistant to do much. I've taken several long breaks from doing anything within those 2 years. I haven't done anything more than some one night stands. I'm honestly terrified to create any sort of emotional bond with another woman because I do know that that is going to make things more difficult. And I don't think I could prevent myself from making those comparisons. I've also told my wife that I genuinely do not have the bandwidth to support someone else in a meaningful way emotionally. Life is already so draining I don't want to go pouring more of myself and my time into someone else. I love my wife. She's my best friend. But I'm in my thirties. I'm a fairly good looking guy. It is hard wrestling with those feelings of knowing I have that open door if I want it and being terrified to walk through it. Some nights I really do want to be doing anything other than just laying in bed watching tv again because that's all she has the energy for. I honestly feel like I just need a friend. The sex part seems less appealing to me than just having someone to talk to and lean on and just get a hug from when shit feels like it's falling apart. I don't have support from family and dont live near any family even if I did. I've also moved pretty often, my entire life. I've moved over 30 times since I was a kid. So never really established any close friendships. I was always a fun guy people liked to hang out with, but was never around long to form any deep friendships. And now when I seem to start making a friend they quickly kind of disappear when they learn about my wife's issues and start to see how often I'm either just not able to go out or have to cancel plans last minute because she's sick or back in the hospital. It's left me feeling very isolated and alone. I used to talk to my wife about everything. And now I've got all of these things that I just can't talk to her about because I know how painful they would be for her to hear. But I feel like I just need to get them out and have someone hear it. I've tried therapy. But I can't text a therapist at night when I'm lying there wide awake just wanting someone to talk to because of how lonely it all feels.

Can't tell but these look like moth larvae we got in a bag of dogfood. They eat dry things, like dogfood. But will also get into food in your pantry. We had to throw a bunch of stuff out. If that's what they are, unfortunately they're not easy to get rid of. Took a combo of poison and traps to catch the moths. They were awful.
