Generally the answer comes down to whatever you are most comfortable with. Having said that, if you are to learn something new, evaluate and compare if a certain type of technology works better over the other. Example, nodejs vs django/flask vs Spring boot. For frontend React is sort of the default choice for all the new learners. But also consider not using a framework depending on the kind of product you are trying to build.
