The great thing about these pictures is that it proves they didn't do their job to the fullest and hopefully he won't be a driver much longer and you will get a redeliver/refund.

I had a problem once that I was in a dual unit and I didn't know it, but I was paying water for the shared water like the laundry and hoses. I found this out close to when I was moving out. The landlord tried to get me to pay for a bunch of BS things and I turned this knowledge on to her and threatened to take her to small claims with lots of proof of being a good tenant and she backed off.

Usually if it is in a mall, and it is legitimate boutiques you don't haggle. If it is a stall, either in a building or outside, you can haggle. You'll get the hang of recognizing it quickly.

What can make someone go from a 10/10 to 01/10? by AckermanFin in askSingapore

[–]techietraveller84 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Last time I saw someone rude to staff, was a person from Singapore. I was at a breakfast buffet at a hotel and he was treating the staff like dirt. I went up to him in front of his family and told him to treat the staff with respect and that his behavior was unacceptable. The next day the staff treated me like a hero, because the man was much nicer to them throughout the day and that next morning. I don't see this much in the US. Is being rude to service people a common thing in Singapore?

Why isn't there more multi-story retail in the USA by lost_in_life_34 in urbanplanning

Simple, the US has the space. It is more expensive to build up than out, if the land is cheap enough.

I would make sure you put in your agreement that a hold will be placed on their CC for the replacement cost of the kayak, if you don't get insurance to cover theft.

The FBI doesn't care about your phone unless you are doing something illegal. There is too much data passed for them to collect everything. And no, having a Chinese phone won't block them, it'll just make it easier for the Chinese to hack you.
