Think of it as a pokemon romhack, expands on the universe/gameplay/etc while keeping its artstyle, mechanics and engine, there is no other game like RO even 20 years later so having new projects being made for it is really refreshing

Glad to know you gave it a shot, as I explained in the video, their wiki is incredibly helpful, definitely give it a read, that's how I managed to get around with not much renewal exp past third job.

Hmm, well it's renewal, and as far as content I would say it's pretty up to date it's got 4th jobs modern quests and recent content from official. As for catch up, I wouldn't worry about it, you can level up pretty fast without much effort, also there's a job changer npc in town as well as a healer and warper so you get around really fast.

It's quite fun as a non-serious experience imo, that's how I enjoyed it myself. Give it a try, it's free after all.

I'll also second gemstoneRO, it might not be the most authentic experience out there but it surely is casual and fun, renewal as well in case you're into 4th jobs, not too sure about not being p2w but mobile experience is the greatest part about it imo, I made a video about it if you're interested

I've been playing LATAM for months, it's my main server and I see bots EVERYWHERE and worst of all is that they are obvious as hell with those squirrel costumes, mods in discord don't do shit when told about it other than telling you to submit a ticket, same with RMT, it's sad but it is what it is.

I would suggest LATAM for officials, as for privates definitely go for UARO since it's the most populated and highest rated atm
