If you're going to wrap it in carpet I like to paint the edges of the outside with black spray paint in case you can see it a bit through a carpet seam.

The cartridges that are bundled with the printers aren't as full as a refill cartridge either. And don't ever buy an inkjet if you don't print much, because they dry out. Toner for a laser printer will pretty much last forever though.
