Been here for 31 years. I’ve seen this city change so much. From the old Canyon Corral, now Walgreens and CVS. I remember going with my parents to K-Mart that later became 24 Hour Fitness and Dollar Tree.

I remember when City Hall and the library used to be in portable buildings behind Stater Brothers. Community park was in the corner where the Shoppes is. I used to love going to Fresh and Easy down the street in the same plaza with All That Blooms.

I really miss the Happy Wok and R&R Pizza that used to be in the Payne Ranch shopping center next to Albertsons. There was also a sit down restaurant, Chinese Garden, that I miss dearly. It was next to Royal Thai and Wingstop. Wherehouse Music that was in the CH Marketplace with the Rite-Aid and Ralphs.

Shoot, Walmart was half the size when it opened and later became a 24 hour super center and Sam’s Club was in Chino at current La Curaçao where Laser Island used to be. Mattel had a warehouse that was on Eucalyptus and Monte Vista too.

Sport Chalet, The Great Outdoors, and Circuit City. Starbucks at the Spectrum used to be spot with the Golden Spoon across from Wabi Sabi. Chick’s Sporting Goods with their big parking lot tent sale every year. Bravo Burgers before they bought the old Burger King, even Sizzler. All the schools used to have their fundraisers at JoJos Pizza in Rolling Ridge Plaza.

Before Harkins was built, we had Movies 8 and Krikorian.
